This was a great cruise! The staff was great and everything was clean. COVID was a new when we went and they way the crew was handling it we never had a fear! The food is amazing and all the posts of call were great! Royal did an amazing job on the Freedom’s renovation! Royal also did an outstanding job in keeping guest informed when our port closed the last day for departure. They extended the trip to get us to another port and you would have never knew there was an adjustment. You can tell this was an experienced Captain and crew!…

This was our 2nd time on Freedom leaving out of San Juan. We got an OV room because we really wouldn't spend a lot of time on the balcony or in our room. We always love departing from San Juan and we love to see all of our Puerto Rican friends partying and dressing sharp. We have sailed on 7 cruises all together in the last 1.5 years and we are definitely addicted and look forward to more cruising. The Freedom is excellent for first time cruisers but we are at the place where we look forward to excellent shows and onboard activities. …

We spent a week headed to the Southern Caribbean on Freedom of the Seas. I was concerned about this being an older ship (before renovation) and it showing its age. We often travel via cruise ship and only have ever sailed on the newer ones. Let me just say, this may be my favorite ship. The departure point of San Juan was so fun. We started the vacation 2 days before the cruise! How many people can say they went and toured a fort, visited the House of Bacardi, and then got on a cruise ship all in a day? The ship had amazing staff members and the size was great. Not too small but not overwhelmingly big. The itinerary is the main draw here but she is so fun! Rooms were spacious with large balconies and the entertainment was great. We loved how many room options there were. My mom and I had a balcony while my aunt and cousin saved some $ in an interior but still had a window overlooking the promenade. Overall, I 100% recommend this ship to anyone and cannot wait to be back on her and see all the renovations in December 2020 for my college graduation friend cruise!…
