Don't bother doing it like we did. A perfectly good vacation ruined by untrained and unhappy staffs. This is our 2nd stay and heck, it was so bad, we're not coming back. Paid a lot to just be rudely set aside by a staff in Oceaneer's Club. Manager was very apologetic and I suggested to review videos on how we were handled so badly. The line was long and we had 2 families already cut ahead of us. Our child already has the bracelet and lock yesterday but we were told embarassingly that she still needs to check in. Then I suggested to just remove the lock if it gives you the false impression that they can just go in by swiping her bracelet with her and her parents information, everything in there. If we're going to qeue again for the lock, then there's really no point in not removing the lock when they leave unless they wanted to save money. Anyway for a company that sells happiness, it instead sold stress. I and my wife's day was ruined and I just pulled her from being dropped off. Can't really leave your kid to a bunch of tyrant and power-tripping people. Shameful that this is one of the selling point of the cruise. Just go for other cruises, far better value and treats you like gold.

Following on from Jacqueline P - we have had the same issue. Excursion dates were released and we logged on immediately only to find that all of the excursions suitable for children were sold out. All feels a pointless holiday now as we won’t actually get to disembark and visit the countries. NEVER have I been one to stay ‘on resort’ as we like to actually get to visit a country properly but this very expensive holiday is going to feel very much like a gated community. Well done Disney for not being able to calculate how many children are sailing and even trying to provide accordingly.

DO NOT book unless you don't mind staying on the ship. The excursions came out today for July 24th and by the time I could log on there was nothing decent left to do. There attitude was pay 12k and hopefully someone will cancel their excursions!!!

Last minute booking, need to escape for a week and relax. Two teenagers enjoyed themselves immensely in the teens club and made new friends. Areas of the ship that are adults only were welcome, the disney characters are not in your face all the time, one is alerted to their presence as and when and it is up to you how much time you want to spend with them! The food was plentiful and varied. Special thanks to our waiters Raj and Luvno for taking care of us so well. Also to Kath for maintaining our rooms to impeccable standard. The only waste of time and money was paying for access to the Rainforest Room for the week. They have 10 hard stone heated beds, impossible to get comfy on, 3 showers, 2 small square jacuzzis that only allow 2 people in at once and a sauna and steam room. Needless to say we didn't spend much time in here! The spa treatments themselves were marvelous, we indulged in facials and massages. Eric Jones the visiting magician put on a fabulous show and the Disney Dream cast of performers were jolly good.

The pros, For the crew, everything from room service to restaurant staff were always polite, professional and friendly. The food is awesome. The negatives, this ship holds about 2,600 people and imagine 2600 people wanting to see the same Mickey, Goofy, etc, The line sometimes wrapped around the deck area of the character experience with on the app is only supposed to be 15 to 30 minutes. Could be almost an hour or more. Next issue is the Disney Nav app. There is no instructional video on how to use the app. So your first day unless you know someone that is cruised, even for myself that has technological experience, it is bit confusing and this is the only way of communications between you and your family if doing different adventures on the ship and all the daily major activities such as where you eat dinner. Internet is bad, You must pay to get internet. The main app that works is the Disney Cruise app without Internet. Finally the pool, imagine a medium-sized home pool with about 100 unsupervised kids. There is a lifeguard but a way to put it nicely are the kids can be "playful" in boundaries such as kicking other kids in the face accidentally stepping on toes, etc, unless there is a serious safety concern, the lifeguard usually will not intervene. There is an adult pool for only adults.
