My husband and I did a back-to-back in Aqua class on Equinox in March 2023. The first cruise was lovely, beautiful ship, nice venues, excellent service. The second cruise we both caught Covid about half way through. Really sick. Medical team took good care of us, checking on us every day, giving us medications to ease the symptoms. Room service was also excellent. Food arrived hot and there were good selections (not that we were that hungry). We could choose from menus from the main restaurant and our Blu as well as the regular room service menu (which is pretty limited). We were in constant contact with the "Quarantine Concierge" who provided assistance with whatever we needed. Celebrity gave us free wi-fi and free in-room movies for our quarantine duration. They did not move us from our balcony room, so we could go outside on the deck for fresh air. They did not charge for the medical services and they will be reimbursing us for the cruise fare for the 5 days we were in quarantine. When asked, they were not very forthcoming about how many cases were onboard, but I suspect it was more than just us. We were released from quarantine the last day of the cruise and were allowed to go out with masks. Overall, I think they did a good job taking care of us. However, I don't think we'll be cruising again soon, as Celebrity is no longer requiring people to be vaccinated or tested. Even though we were fully vaxed and boosted, it didn't protect us from whoever brought the virus onboard. Covid is definitely still here. I saw on the CDC vessel sanitation website that Equinox had 116 guests and 12 crew cases of "gastrointestinal illness" on the cruise following ours. So there's that, too. I did notice some people not sanitizing their hands going into the buffet. Have people forgotten so soon????…

We went on a 9night cruise to Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacco. It was amazing and everything was beautiful. On top of that the crew is AMAZING!!! Especially our concierge Jun who made sure our room was in perfect order multiple times a day and went above and beyond to help us. He even washed my husband's muddy sandals when we were out one day. The dinner crew in the Oceanview Cafe Ranisha, Wawariah, Hannah, Brenda are BEYOND AMAZING and helpful. They literally made our cruise!!! They are so inviting and helpful they feel like family! We visited the casino nightly and met Gontse, Magic and Davide who were wonderful, helpful, social and inviting. Can't forget our favorite bartender Sajan who always made sure we had what we needed!! Seriously the best crew ever!!! I only have one complaint. LEON who works in the casino is horrible !!! He is very uninviting, rude, and almost has a harassing personality he was the only crew member we encountered who was horrible almost every night. 10/10 recommend this cruise !! 10/10 recommend staying away from Leon so you don't have to experience any negativity on your cruise. With love, the Whaley's…

Just got off Celebrity Equinox today on Fort Lauderdale. The staff are all very friendly. Except for Marcia at the coffee bar in the Ocean View Grill. She never smiled once. The food was horrible. I would rate 3/10. It looked nice but was very poor quality. The pineapple and watermelon was delicious. The breads were good. Select dining the waiters were very nice and friendly. However the food again poor quality. I would like to take over and teach them what good quality is. The ports of call were nice. Our room guy was very friendly and our bed was always made beautifully. I’m pretty sure bookings on this ship will decline if they don’t change the food. One last note… The Ukrainian girl organizing things like Deal or No Deal… she is the biggest asset to this ship.…

Having been on a massive Royal Caribbean cruise ship and also a smaller Carnival ship, we have enough to compare with. This ship has tremendous staff and was very clean. I will say the solarium needs to have food within it, that was the best part of the Royal Caribbean solarium. The entertainment was sub-par compared to Royal Caribbean. The food was decent to very good. The mast grill was decent but needed more options. The buffet is manageable but not overly spectacular. The art auctions were sub-par compared to other experiences. Room was very good size and balcony was enjoyable. Not a lot of extras to do, grass area was nice but no food or drink on that end means no one ever really goes there except to watch blown glass.…

Top of the list place to visit when the ship docked at La Spezia Italy was Manarola, part of the Cinque Terre. We booked an excursion with celebrity to visit Manarola along with two other villages along the coast via boat. The excursion was advertised by use of the image of Manarola, in fact the images of Manarola are probably the most advertised in the whole area of that section of Italy. Problem was the boat did not stop there to drop off! Instead it picked up another group of tourists to shuttle them to the next village!!! You can imagine the disappointment of our group that we could not get off and see this beautiful village. On my return to the ship I pointed out to the excursion staff that although the image of Manarola was all over the trip you actually DID NOT stop there! The staff were totally unfazed and not interested. So beware when booking, and read every detail. I have given the trip two stars as the first village was lovely. Ps The ship was brilliant! Slightly understaffed and understocked with some products but overall I could not fault the ship…
