My wife and I went on a cruise last week from New Orleans to Cozumel and Progeso, MX. It was our 2nd cruise. It was Spring Break for the State of AR. Of course the ship was filled with hormones. Being around the young people wasn’t so bad, but at night they were running down the halls late at night. We haven’t forgot our days of youth, but vacationing is meant for rest. We want to plan another cruise next year maybe we will book and all adults cruise line.…

Ship needs refurbished. Some of the lights along the top in our room did not work. The furniture had seen better days, I did not like sitting on sofa it was dirty. While bathroom was old it was clean. Plenty of storage BUT only ONE outlet. Charging phones, hearing aids, I pad etc. and ONLY ONE outlet. I have avoided Carnival cruises because I figured it was not my age group and I was correct. It was very loud, wild and people were very crude with language. I realize it was my choice to try Carnival but pretty sure I will leave it to the younger crowd in the future.…

Wife and I need a short get away. Valor showing her age in places. Staff did a good job overall, but it still did seem short staffed in areas. Seas were ruff several days, but not the worst I been on. Cabin attendant Conrad was outstanding all week. Food was not the best we had, better in the past. Over all this was the 5 days we were looking for. Unplugged and Out of Pocket to just relax.…

The food was mediocre & contracted norovirus (food poisoning)the 3rd day & was isolated for the last 2 days puking my brains out. Could not hold any food down for 7 days. The nurse was horrible at starting iv’s & my arm is still bruised & sore over a month later. I was offered a $43 cruise credit due to being isolated. What a smack in the face, but it’s safe to say I won’t be cruising with Carnival anymore.…

If you enjoy waiting in lines, eating tasteless food, being surrounded by broken things, having a limit on your “unlimited” drink package then this is the cruise for you! This cruise was not relaxing, enjoyable or felt like a vacation at all. I will say though that the comedies and bartenders are the only good thing on this cruise.…
