Valentines park boating lake has become a bit of a favourite of ours as it is such fun to row around, feed the ducks and geese and just take in the beautiful views around the water. The staff are ace and go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome. Highly recommend

As a theatre person myself I know that shows like this aren’t easy to put together. The team did it wonderfully and it looked fabulous lighting and costume wise! Special shout out to the followspot people (I know Nic mentioned them too) never an easy job especially with kids that change what they’re doing ect, I didn’t even notice them (which is always a good thing!!!!!)

My experience of Frenford clubs was many years ago but I remember it with great affection.I joined 1950 and from then on it became my life PT Monday,Drama Tuesday,Badminton Wednesday ,Snooker Thursday, and the forbidden, hanging around the Girls club on Friday ,football, cricket and other activities on Saturday and once a month a non denominational service,at the local Friends Meeting house on Sunday evening ,until National service it was my life.I met my wife of 60 years there ,and my oldest friend who we lost recently was a member and we communicated and socialised all our lives. Frenford gave me a way of living and treating other people.Which I am ever thankful!

I had read a few books on the Thompson - Bywaters case of 1922 and set out to explore on foot some of the area (which I did) - checked out the museum which was very interesting and explored the adjacent library section on the history of Ilford. Found some relevant books in a locked glass case and the helpful researcher got them out for me to peruse. Excellent service , and much appreciated. .

This little hidden treasure in Ilford is both surprising and beautiful. Steeped in history and some mystery it's a must for locals who should be very proud of it and for all history buffs. Who knew!

Redbridge library is big and seems clean.
The books are in great condition.
The staff seem to work on the customers and people using the library in a good manner that is more than professional.

Easier access to many local routes, bus stop just outside. Station is always kept cleaned and most of the time there are staff available. Central line tube very frequent. Cab firms are just outside.
