What travellers are saying
- CubsFan-TAEldridge, IA284 contributionsBeautiful winery. Located in a country setting, outside the hustle of Myrtle Beach. Lovely grounds and quaint gift shop and wine tasting area. I enjoyed their selection of wines. I am not a fan of sweet wines and this winery has a good selection of dry wines. The wine tasting was fun and the employees were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back and listen to the live entertainment.Written 28 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jerry ESimpsonville, SC6 contributionsThis is a great place and the VIP Tour was awesome! The owner showed us his production equipment and provided a lot of interesting background about the nature of different types of alcohols and how they are made. After the tour we entered an exclusive speakeasy section of the bar where we sampled a variety of the liquors that are produced onsite and we enjoyed one of their signature cocktails!Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelbugSouth Carolina97 contributionsNice outdoor space, plenty of walking trails through the maritime forest and marshes. A pleasant way to spend a Sunday walking our dog.Written 18 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob BMyrtle Beach, South Carolina, Usa2 contributionsWhat a fantastic tour! Angie was friendly and very patient explaining the operation of the Segways and making sure everyone was as comfortable before we started.
The tour is just right in terms of length and covers terrain from the parking lot, to sidewalks, and trails through the woods.
Do show up 30 minutes before the tour starts so that you can do paperwork, choose a helmet, and get initial training on the safe operation of the Segway.
It is easy to learn and before you know it you’ll be driving around like an expert.
One word of caution: we came up on a water moccasin as it crossed the woodland trail. They are venomous and best observed from a distance.Written 16 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. First I do think the machines are outdated, any of the newer ones are "reserved" from the time you get on the boat until you can no longer gamble. Guests are playing 2-3 machines at once, which should be discouraged by crew members, but no one says anything,. The boat trip is relaxing, but there is no entertainment, with all the money that is being made, at least provide some entertainment. I am sick of the sandwiches they offer, premade and blah! They did real well pre-covid -BUT THEY USED COVID as a way to make even more money by providing NO ENTERTAINMENT and NO real food options. But I guess they don't have to NOW, they are raking in more than ever and give nothing back! People should complain and ask to bring some of the precovid amentities back!!Written 5 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jmichel01Myrtle Beach, SC445 contributionsQuiet marina off the ICW North of the Little River Swing bridge. You pull into the marina to a nice secure gas dock. They have a little shop for drinks, snacks and frozen fish bait. Gas is on average 40 cents per gallon cheaper than anywhere else and the service people there are great. Because you are sheltered, getting gas is easier and less stressful. They are also a full service marina with slips, boat storage and there is a restaurant on site though boat parking for the restaurant is limited to one or two spacesWritten 18 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LRJeanPooler, GA232 contributionsThey give you a free limited buffet meal as your cruise 3 miles out into the Atlantic. Then let the gambling and fun begin. A great experience. Each cruise takes about 5 hours and not recommended if you are prone to get sea sick, but otherwise fun.Written 1 April 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LouFaulxNorth Myrtle Beach, SC186 contributionsCome visit Grace Christian Fellowship Church and get awe inspiring laymen’s educational sermon each and every Sunday given by Pastor Leon Weber. You are guaranteed to come out of the church learning something spiritually and feeling the presence of the Lord.
Great Congregation that benefit all members and guests. The greens are in very good shape, but the cart paths could use an update. The clubhouse appears to have been updated within the last 5 years. The menu is limited, but tasty and reasonable. They also offer breakfast for early duffers.Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LAMFERYork, PA505 contributionsIf you are stopping here because you want to tour the lighthouse, please read the website prior to trying, it is NOT a lighthouse you can tour. It is a replica. It is located in a private residential area. If you know before you go, then you won't be disappointed and leave a negative responsive. What's not to love, it's a lighthouse, beautiful :)Written 12 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RICART75Peru, IN2,185 contributionsIt has become a tradition for us, when staying in Myrtle Beach; to drive up to Calabash N C and load up with selections from the Calabash Deli. We then stop at this Welcome Center on the way back.
Since it's late night/early morning when we usually initially enter South Carolina; this becomes our best option for obtaining the most current hard copy information for our stay.
This facility is clean, well-maintained, nicely designed and loaded with helpful materials.
The staff have always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating (this year being no exception).
From maps to coupons to current attractions; a stop here is a great way to orient, and begin one's visit to the area.Written 4 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Don't expect floors and floors of finely polished antiques. This is a shop where great finds come and go quickly. Diamonds in the rough.Written 18 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
