- Lisa StatnerCalifornia16 contributionsWe had such a wonderful experience at Jessup Cellars as always! My husband and I have been members for about 10 years or more and every time we come it's a wonderful experience! We always come to pick up our shipment and taste a variety of the award-winning wines that they have to offer! Their facility has lovely tasting areas indoors as well as outdoors! I highly recommend wine tasting at Jessup Cellars! They're service is impeccable and always love learning so much about all their different wines! You won't be disappointed!Written 8 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Lisa P1 contributionThis was easily one of our favorite service experiences. Vanessa was engaging, explained the wines, her take on them along with the Winemakers explanations and her analogies were spot on! We are so glad we picked up a case to ship home to remember this amazing experience!!

What a warm welcome! impress !
We are so lucky to have Bob introduced us to the Goosecross. He is so knowledge to the wine and the region. We learned a lot from him. He is easy to communicate.
Our guest and we have such a great time. The wines really surprised us too. They have such great characters.Written 8 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - KMM2 contributions
We flew in from Southern California for a reunion with our long time friends from the Bay Area who generously treated us with a special reserve tasting on the outdoor patio.
The first thing we noticed as we entered the patio was a great mix of our favorite rock songs. What a cool concept, wine and rock! Love it!
Maria, our host did an impressive job sharing Cliff Lede’s vision along with the history, philosophy and culture of the winery as she took us though our tasting. Maria is one of those special people that makes you feel so comfortable we wish she could have pulled up a chair and joined us!
Our tasting included the 2021 Fel Chardonnay, the 2021,Fel Pinot Noir, and the 2018 Cliff Lede Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2019 Cliff Lede Roundabout Midnight Cabernet. Much to our delight friends added a few more pours but the Roundabout Midnight Cabernet Sauvignon was a unanimous winner.
What an incredible experience, it was one of those special days we will always remember and cherish. Good friends, great wine, a beautiful day and a fun loving host. What more could you ask for? Thank you Maria! ( and Jacquie & Ken! ♥️)Written 8 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At least we were offered to buy mini bottles instead (187 ml a bottle). Got Rose and Blanc. Both were pretty good, with Blanc being my strong preference. Staff was on average. Overall - I was expecting a bit more than what we got.Written 26 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nancy G1 contributionThe ambiance is amazing with that modern country look. The wines were even better and strongly recommend the food pairing which includes a butter board. Now for the best part - our host Evan. He is super knowledgable and just fun to be around! - BoeDutchessMetro Minneapolis-Saint Paul, MN3 contributionsDuring our stay in Yountville, our group found ourselves frequenting Priest Ranch Winery. First off, the staff is amazing from the tasting room to The Kitchen at Priest Ranch. However, we must give a special shout out to Juan Calvillo for going above and beyond. Our group was on a time limit (~45 minutes), so that we could make our scheduled wine tasting. We informed Juan of the location and time of our scheduled tasting and Juan managed to get us the Bacon Experience we were seeking, and the best part is how Juan managed the situation because the experience did not feel rush. We loved the atmosphere, the people, bacon experience, and of course the wine. This is what drew us to frequent the tasting room. We can go on and on about the positive experiences! Oh, and The Kitchen at Priest Ranch…the smash burger and fries are delicious! Paired well with their Block 144 (Petit Verdot). We look forward to when we can visit again!Written 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ray CMansfield, TX176 contributionsStopped into this locale for tourist info. Rather than provide us with generic info, we were queried into length of stay, specific interests etc by the staff who are very knowledgeable on what’s available & what to avoid. We followed the provided instructions to a tee & enjoyed a perfect stay in Napa.Written 21 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob44514Youngstown53 contributionsThis is written to make sure people understand. Hopper Creek in September 2016 was one of the most fun afternoons I have enjoyed in my life. My wife and I and another couple, Audrey and Jeff arrived at Hopper Creek after visiting Rutherford Ranch, Dutch Henry and Flora’s Springs Wineries. We enjoyed the tasting, the education, the little terrier and the most splendid patio. This was on a Platypus Tour and Roxie was our hostess. Way too much fun.
I am so sorry to find out this place is closed. It is now part of Hoopes Vineyards.Written 8 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had time to kill before a reservation and dropped in another place that charged $80/tasting. Too pricey for us but the guy was nice to give a few recs for other options/walk-ins. Excellent recommendation! The wines were all so good and we had the best time talking with Brett! We had the place to ourselves and sat outside on the couches tasting wine and talking-it is not formal or stuffy at all which I appreciate. We brought home a couple bottles of red and will be raising a glass to Brett when we get into them!Written 4 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
