What travellers are saying
- onehappylittleladyCalgary, Canada114 contributionsIt will appeal to a certain person interested in Cabot Yerxa himself. I was hoping for more Native American art and artifacts but really more about this person and his life. The staff were quite friendly.Written 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ron MSan Diego, CA5 contributionsI loved this preserve. I'm not from a desert area and so I found the palms and water pools fascinating in the midst of the dry desert. The visitor center was closed the day I was there, but the trail was fairly well marked. Just look for the signs. The main part of the preserve did not seem wheelchair accessible and some of the walk, you will be walking in sand. But, that is to get to the end of the trail where the best oalms and pools are.
There are also nice palms right near the visitors center.
Parking is out on a busy road, so be careful parking. Don't stop in the street, or you might cause an accident. I'd recommend going to the end of the cars, parking and walking if you are able. Searching for a close space or worse yet, waiting in the road for another driver to pull out is very DANGEROUS.
Dint forget to donate $$ at the lock box bear the visitor center.😄Written 13 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alex MConcord, NH46 contributionsNot sure what the park was called but the surface was really nice. Not too fast or slow. Every court had a bench, trash can and was lit. Definitely worth a look.Written 1 April 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Regina PLos Angeles, CA2 contributionsKimana Springs is an incredible oasis of natural mineral hot springs pools on a gorgeous property with incredible views of the mountains. My husband and I soaked in the pools and almost fell asleep, because we were so relaxed. Then we took walked around the picturesque property with all of his ponds, trees, plants, and beautiful scenery. It was a couple of hours of complete heaven! Kristie was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions. It's a must stop if you are traveling to Palm Springs or Joshua Tree!!Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Just like the Palm Springs location it has the very same zen upscale spa feel with fun couples from all over the country.
