Great for 1/2 day visit, shopping, food, views, architecture and historic town museum. Even parking was not a problem, but a good option to come on a train from Lisbon

Didn't go in, but deserves a walk by. It's cool to see a museum that has a little beach. The fountain at the front is nice too, plus the park in the back.

One of our favorite places in Cascais. We love to go to the kiosk and order some coffee or cold drinks and sit and watch the world go by. The landscaping is lush and lovely.

We walked to this beach from Cascais, a pleasant walk along the sea. We did not linger for long but noted a nice stretch of sand, gentle surf, and some places to buy food.

Oh how I wish we had this in Wigan, the choice of stalls and the different varieties of fish is superb. An art form watching the fish wives gutting and filleting any manner of fish.

The story of her life with many tragic episodes is told on film by Paula herself. Luckily she managed to receive also fame as the outstanding red museum was built in 2009, she died in 2022. All her works are based on a story, some ancient, many modern which she first forms by dressing real people to their given roles or uses self made puppets. My first encounter with her mesmerizing art was years back in London where she studied. This pilgrimage to Cascais was most satisfying as few of her paintings can be found in Lisbon.

A beautiful location, adjacent to the center of town with the shopping, eating and strolling. Also next to the central beach. If you like yachts, this is the place for you to do some window shopping and dreaming. A safe calm harbor.

When visiting the Historical center and surroundings, we came to the Ribeira beach on a beautiful and sunny fall morning. Locals were playing beach volleyball, people were surfing, swimming or tanning. It is beautiful area of Cascais.
