What travellers are saying
- Raoul RongenSittard, The Netherlands996 contributionsOn our way from Bastia to Bonifacio we stopped at this beach because it is one of the most famous beaches of Corsica.
Parking was free and on couple of minutes walk to the beach. Beach is beautiful, sand has a nice colour, water is beautiful and calm and the unique trees on the background gives it a gorgeous setting.
There is no natural shade on the beach so bring something along. There are some sun beds for rental but only around 10/15 while the beach is very populair. At least that was the case on the side we where (Nord side).
There is a beach bar with serves drinks and some food.Written 13 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No need to reserve ahead of time. There are several tours a day.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pawel PCorsica, France2 contributionsbeautiful city… but city police agent on scuter very rude and bad mannered, very bad image of the city, residents and unfortunately reproduced a bad Corsican image 🙁🙁🙁Written 28 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam B2 contributionsIf travelling as a foot passenger from Marseille, make sure you go to the foot passenger terminal and not the car entrance (where google maps seems to take you). Unhelpfully, the exact location of the foot passenger terminal isn't on Corsica Linea's website at the time of writing.
The exact location of the foot passenger terminal is:
Gare maritime piétons Corse,
4982 Quai de la Joliette, 13002 Marseille, France
Other than not knowing where to go to get on the ferry and subsequently nearly missing it, Corsica Linea had really good service, good value food and nice to have a selection of films to watch in our cabin on the Marseille-Ajaccio ferry.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The water is calm, clear and shallow for quite a long distance. Perfect for children.Written 2 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was quiet and atmospheric, with good views from the top
So was a good choiceWritten 27 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very nice attraction to be done with sneakers or barefoot (slippers are not allowed). Beware the 187 stairs are high and steep (45d egrees),sometimes irregular.but absolutely worth it!Written 27 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Borntorun6970 contributionsToo many boats, driven by too many unrespectful people. The local government should block them before, as it happens in Lotu.Written 27 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gabriel ALisbon, Portugal115 contributionsAn amazing and impressive landscape!! It is definitely worth driving from Lospedale to Solezara. The forest and rocks are ubíqua!Written 15 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- emscieCarbis Bay, UK124 contributionsLovely spot to go for a walk and a swim. Parked in the car park just beyond the adventure park and took the yellow route down to the bridge and then climbed down to swim in the pools. Return trip took about 2 hours. Need decent shoes if doing that particular walk as scrambling over some rocks. Much easier route if you turn left out of car park and walk down the main path. Parking cost about 5 euros. Would take a picnic if visited again although there is a restaurant near the main part of the poolsWritten 6 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JMASON13Guildford, UK92 contributionsA long walk up through the countryside but so worth it once you get there! Using google maps may not be the best way to find the route but we found a sign just beyond the social centre / nursery school ( in yellow ND dls) and this was repeated as we went up - and up! Following other groups also helped.
The views across the bay were spectacular. I suggest you walk back down the road as it is smoother and you get views of the other side of the headland. Amazing rock formations along the road.Written 30 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Get your tickets at the booth. No need to reserve in advance.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
