This time tried Western side of the mountain. It's a great waterfalls place. Be ready for thousands of stairs inside of bamboo forest also. Need to take a hotel to start hiking in early morning if you would like to rise for the end

Yes, the rebuilding of Mr.Hu's house from Beijing is nice and gives an impression to the life he lived when at home. Also his childhoods house of grandfather shows, from what kind of family he came and why he was so engaged in teaching the farmers.
But the great memorial hall, for me as Western, gives a strange impression. So much cult around a person and the party. Mr. Hu was one of the importanst leaders. No question. It's just little kind of a bitter taste, what stays after the visit.
Worth to see. Get your own impression.

See the history of fireworks in china and it's way to the world. Not expect some sensations. Many pictures, some models an old machines. A good part of the explanations in English!
Also visit the temple near to the museum, where the firework workers, managers and city leaders pray for the business, the safety and a good economic for this part of LiuYang.
Time all together, not more than 1.5 hrs.

Entrance to No.1 School in Luiyang. Beautiful and tranquil gardens whilst the pupils are in class. Experience Chinese students as they go about their busy classroom lives.

Built in 1913, in memory of Mr. Tan Sitong, a Chinese great thinker and reformist in the late Qing Dynasty. He was executed at the age of 33 after a national cultural and political reform movement failed.

It is different from another 2 historical spots related to Tan: “Tan Sitong Tomb” at Xiaoshui Village, and “Tan Sitong's Former Residence” at Zheng-Bei street”. (This Ancestral Hall is located about 300 meters from Tan’s Former Residence.)

the same as the former residence, there is a sculpture of Tan Sitong, and some exhibitions showing the life of Tan.

I visited the hall for the memories of the great thinker.
