- Shamitha SBellevue, WA43 contributionsIf you are staying at or near the Spicetree Resort (about 23 km/1 hr from Munnar town), definitely try this spa. They have a variety of traditional and Ayurvedic treatments.
After 10 hectic days in Hyderabad, my feet were dry and painful.
I scheduled the 30 minute foot ritual immediately upon checking in. This includes cleansing, exfoliation, dry skin removal, moisturizing and massage. It is not a Western style pedicure with nail polish, etc but I mainly needed the dry skin removal and massage.
An attendant came to my room to walk me to/from the spa. The spa has two male and two female therapists, typically women would have the female therapist, and so on. The facilities are nestled in the misty mountains and are very clean.
I am planning to schedule an Ayurvedic facial for my mother-in-law and foot ritual for my daughter. I may also have a massage.Written 7 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you are looking for authentic kerela massage don't ever go there. They just do average massage on the name of ayurvedic panchakarma treatment. Even there Ambience of room is not acceptable. Full of light and not clean plus lot of disturbance during massage like loud noises , full lighting and no towel to wipe u out after massage. I took there full package together with my parents and it was not worth. Kizhi and sirodhara was the worst.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
