Balanced sharing his knowledge and excitement with showing us quite a wide range of nocturnal animals. Saw a kinkajou, porcupine, toucan, and several frogs and snakes. Appreciated the pick up and return to our hotel as well. However and almost immediately - this became the coolest thing we did in Costa Rica. We saw sleeping birds, a pit viper, a two-toed sloth and numerous insects straight out of childhood textbooks. Deyber was so knowledgeable about everything we saw and the history of the forest. It started with seeing a Toucan, followed by a sloth curled up asleep high in the trees, white faced capuchin monkeys, an agouti and finally a family of pigs. Although we signed up for Monte Verde reserve our guide recommended to go to Curi-Cancha Reserve, definitely the right choice. Go in the "Superman" position on the lines where it's offered!! It's more comfortable, and we felt like you were able to see more!!
Only (small) downside was, the whole tour seemed short. As in, it went by too fast. From start (equipment fitting, instructions) to finish, was less than 2 hours.
You have the option to opt out of some of the activities if you're not up for it. For example, the Tarzan Swing is not for the feint of heart, or anyone with medical conditions! The flora is diverse and you can take good pictures, but I didn"t see any animal, maybe because it was raining.
The circuit has 8 hanging bridges with good views of canopy.

- Greg P1 contributionWe had a great time on this tour. Only one other couple on the tour with us. Juan, our guide, was super friendly, personable, funny, and knowledgeable. We saw lots of birds and a few monkeys on the hanging bridge hike. Delicious lunch provided at a restaurant with local cuisine. Coffee tour was very interesting and informative and the coffee tasting was great. Always fascinated by nature since he was a child, he still got excited when we saw some of Costa Rica's most rare and impressive birds on this tour. It was definitely worth the early start.
