Wow. Thank you Roy for showing us the beauty and wildlife of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Roy located so many interesting animals, birds, reptiles, flora.. his eye for spotting then was almost a superpower. His explanations were fantastic and his love for ecology really shined. Roy really is an expert and I cannot recommend his tour enough!

The guide was amazing, we've been able to spot lot sof animals, including sloths.

His expertise was crazy, they can spot some very small animals / insects in the dark of the night.

    Highly recommend!

Lots to see and our tour guide Dennis was fantastic. Well worth going to and our private tour was worth the money. The fauna was beautiful and the birds we saw were very cool.

I did the self guided hike and I loved how it was well-planned and organized. I'm an inexperienced hiker and was thankful that there were multiple markings on the trail to guide you and the terrain was easy to navigate. It was refreshing to rest by the waterfalls after a long hike. There was an option for horseback riding and I can tell that the horses were well taken cared of and healthy. The guide was also very nice and calmed my nerves as it was my first time to ride a horse as well. After the adventure, a yummy lunch is served and again, it was nothing short of amazing. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and this company. They are very professional and organized!

We had a fabulous tour hosted by Catherine. We were fortunate that we were the only ones on the tour, so it was like a private tour. We learnt about how coffee is grown, harvested and roasted as well as the preparation of cacao for use in chocolate.
We tried different types of coffee and cacao/chocolate across the different stages as well as creating sugar cane juice and drank ‘Toad water’ which was delicious.
    Fascinating experience and learnt loads.

    Highly recommend

Olman was an amazing guide!! Since it was the low season, I ended up being the only one on the tour. He had an incredible knowledge of the plants and animals, and helped me see so many things I would never have been able to see on my own. He used his scope to show me amazing wildlife and even took excellent videos and photos with my phone.

Despite the challenges of the rainy season, we were able to see sloths, olingos, wild turkeys, tarantulas, frogs, owls, toucans, and porcupines, among others. Absolutely recommend this incredible experience!

Our family of 8 adults loved this adventure. The zipline was a blast and the Hanging bridges were so beautiful. It was a rainy afternoon for the bridges, but nothing a poncho couldn't handle. I do suggest a guide, which if you book with Native's Way, you will receive. We were shuttled from Tamarindo and it was 3 hours, but the guide broke it up nicely on the way with a stop at a local bakery for cafe and sweets. The ride home was bit lengthy due to traffic on Liberia which added 2 hours to the total return. Pura Vida!

We booked our entire trip through Pasion... The service, the attentiveness, the care, the understanding and patience is OUTSTANDING !!! We were picked up at our hotel in San Jose by Marcos...who by the way is the BEST guide ever !! We went on morning walk with him and also the hanging bridges. He is amazing... did I say the best guide every ? Because, well he is !! Everything went seamlessly on this trip... everything. We had to make a couple of changes due to weather... but again we were treated like family. I highly.... highly recommend Pasion..and no doubt in my mind that I will be booking a trip with them again !!!!

Amazing time and amazing tour! Johnny was funny and insightful as he showed us the local flora and fauna. We got to see monkeys, sloths, snakes, frogs and more! It was a rainy night when we went, so I recommend coming weather-ready.

I asked GOD to see one quetzal at Monteverde; He gave me 8!!! Additionally, He provided Esteban, an exceptional guide.

In THREE hours, despite strong winds, we saw: 6 male quetzals with long and short plumes, 2 female quetzals, toucanets (small toucans), the large, colorful keel-billed toucan mama with her two babies, coatis, capuchin monkeys, motmots, 7 varieties of hummingbirds, a tree porcupine, an agouti eating a baby bird, quail birds, wrens, sparrows, tanagers, yellow-throats, flycatchers, brown jays, black guan, and numerous other bird species whose names I cannot recall.

Esteban is a fantastic guide—great with the scope, patient, and very friendly.

If you want world-class service and the best experience: HIRE ESTEBAN!!!
