The Castello is one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are stunning and the attention to detail is honestly quite astounding. Our room was modern and sleek yet somehow also felt true to the castle with amazing high ceilings. We also had a dressing room/bathroom that was the perfect size. The restaurant within the hotel is more of an experience than a restaurant, everything we tried was absolutely delicious - the presentation was also delightful - together it made for some extremely memorable meals. The staff are lovely and quick to offer fantastic recommendations and it was very clean. Any covid related doubts were left at the door as they provided multiple hand sanitising points, the staff were masked up and the rooms were cleaned to an extremely high standard. A perfect holiday.

We arrived without reservation (15th of August is high holiday in Italy) but they bent over backwards to find us beach chairs and umbrella. Nice white sandy beach with very warm shallow . We had lunch at their restaurant eating fish and costing us about 65e for two people.

Very well-equipped beach, attentive service, free bottles of water and free hot and cold showers (in the VIP area) and very good food.
    Adequate Covid distancing and precautions.
Lack of an adequate changing facility, very near to ample parking lot.

After black clouds came over the beach at Posto Vechio we headed up the coast to this beach.it is easier to find free parking, large toilets, and several beach bars. The sea isn't as shallow but that means not so far out to do real swimming..the beach has more natural debris on it but the upside is it isn't as crowded.

The establishment was very nice and clean and the umbrellas and chairs spaced well enough apart. My small dog (Maltese) was allowed on the beach which was great. My only issue was with the very loud music. I do enjoy listening to music however I also go to the beach to relax which was almost impossible between 10am - 1pm and between 2-4pm as there was constantly loud music played for the aqua gym class, then the Zumba, then spinning and then games. A simple fix would have been to get wireless speakers which could be placed closer to the area where the activities were taking place rather than raising the volume so that it would be heard at a distance.

If you are a fan of history and of Templars this place is for you!
It's actually pretty cool as the museum lady in the counter opens the door for you which adds a layer of historical mystery to it!
The place has paintings in the wall and i would advice you to take a guide with you to explain the story behind the crypt and the wall paintings

Great facilities and beautiful beach with crystal clear water! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is very good, specially the fish of the day. Special thanks to Domenico for the hospitality! Can only recommend, 10/10!

Well, this beautiful little church is what you visit when the museum person drives out to show you the Crypt of the Crucifixion, underground church. This church is great, but the gem is across the street and underground. The colors in the Church of the Madonna of Constantinople are so vibrant! It has recently been restored (in 2005) Numerous saints are painted along with Mary and Jesus. You just have to see this if you already made it into the Crypt of the Crucifixion. The cost is the same, 4 euro for both sites.
