We had a good tour of the Spice Garden- The Spice Route. It is must that you have a Guide to give you information about the various Plants, their utilities and Ayurvedic Value.

The pathway inside the Garden is very uneven and having loose gravels. One must be very careful while walking.

Not recommended in the Rainy Days and very Hot Summer Days

Good spice tour with guide informing different spices and about their growth and medicinal values. Good for the knowledge and we can actually see the tree or plant of the spice we use daily. One was it is profitable business inviting tourists and encourage them to buy spices and medicines.

Many spice gardens you will find in kerala on road. They invite you inside to see different types of spices and their medicinal use and forming method and growth of the tree or the plant. They provide guide for each family or group. Entry fees was little high and they also encourage you to buy good quality organic spices from their shops.

Tucked alongside the main road, one would miss this place if youa re driving fast unless you are coming to Abrahams Spice garden specifically. Name the spice, name the fruit and name the tree. Its all here. More than the spice garden, its Abrahams enthusiasm that rekindles the natures liking within each of us. Passion fruit, Dragon fruit, JAck fruit, Cardamom, Pepper, different types of lemons, mint ...can keep going on and on. Some of the trees here and since Abrahams Grandfather days. If you have kids, just close your eyes and go. Its just about an 1 hr tour in the garden but you will feel relished for next many days.

Had the best time at Ayur Sparsh. The masseuse was very sweet and the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. They provide amazing services and are a must try during a trip to Thekkady, if one wants to experience a good time.

It is a well organised and managed park. The best part of it is that there is something for everyone there. I went there with my wife, daughter, daughter in law,and our grandchildren. Each one had something to interest them. The kids actually had a great time there. The government is sort of a culprit when it comes to the poor condition of the access road. Great place for Adventure, Fun, Time pass.... There is a small eatery inside the park which serves fresh food of great quality and price but is understaffed and overcrowded.

They are just making their business, they only describe what they have made and also have limited plants and herbs which they use in their medicines. And for it, you have to pay rs 100/= per person as entry fee and then depends upon you what you purchase there.

Relying on earlier TripAdvisor reviews my wife and i sought out this central shop. It is packed with all kinds of different crafts, mostly local and often made by cooperatives. We bought most of our presents to bring home while there. Highly recommended for varied and unusual items. Textiles especially good though these are also widely available elsewhere.

Kerala shopee... as the shop names represent its a bunch of kerala traditional sarees and redymades, in a wide area of floor you can get different types of sarees which includes silk and colorful sarees. Affordable prices and friendly staff...
