When you visit Wye Mills and partake of the Grist Mill, Beaten Bisquits and Old Wye Church, you need to go to Wye Oak State Park along the Wye River (know far and wide for its Maryland Oysters).
You can take a few steps to the back of the park (yes it is that small) to see a section of the tree they have preserved so we can still feel the majesty of this miracle of nature.
