A full package a beautiful memorial for the noble Jatayu who tried to save Sitamata from the evil Ravan, fighting till his last breath. The sculptor and the team deserve an award for the awesome sculpture and the cable car experience with the wonderful Mountain View

Wonderfully well maintained temple. The deities both Mahadeva and ganapathi gives one a divine feeling.. The numerous oil lamps on four sides of The temple walls is always an out of the world experience..

The crowd however could be more organised as to maintaining separate entry and exit lines.

Similarly the unniappam neivedyam prasadam seems to have, gone down on quality whereas it has increased triple times as to price... Will authorities take notice?

Worth a visit if you are nearby, but not a lot to see. You can't go in or photograph the interior. You have to take shoes off to go close

It is located in the sea shore of beach town Tangassery. It is about 5 kms from Kollam city. This is a nice place for picnic in the beach.

We once in a year visit Amma's amritapuri ashram apart from getting her darshan in Bangalore. Spirituality of place can't be explained it has to be experienced. So I prefer to share about humanity and hospitality there. All ashram volunteers are humble. Visitors can be of any language , there are volunteers to help visitors in their respective languages.
Accommodation is either at low/no cost. Food will be of Kerala flavour either it's of canteen one or ashram . For Maintenance in terms self-discipline, respect, clean and hygiene, i can rate 5+++... There is no direct airways or train. One can either reach Thiruvananthapuram or Kollam and from there one can get taxi or bus .

It's a marvelous experience, one has to experience it at least once on one's lifetime.
