    Multiday kayaking expedition
    We did an amazing 3-day trip with Dani and his team. I contacted Dani a few months before arriving in Kerala. He was really good at tailoring a trip to our needs (both of us had done some recreational kayaking, but never a multi-day trip).

    Day 0 we slept in Ayushkamy Ayurveda (next to the Syzygy Ecosports).

    Day 1 we woke up very early, and Dani's team drove us (and the kayaks) upstream of Paravur Lake. We then kayaked 4-5 hours (~20km) back down to Ayushkamy Ayurveda, arriving in time for a late lunch. It was a beautiful and peaceful stretch of water, with lots of nature, song from riverside temples, and the opportunity to explore a bit on land when we felt like it.

    Day 2 we woke up early again, and this time drove upstream of Munroe Island. The journey was probably even more beautiful this day. Day 2 we slept in Green Chromide homestay in Munroe Island.

    Day 3 we paddled around the canals of Munroe Island, before saying goodbye to Dani and his team.

    The whole trip was great fun, with lots of 'off-the-beaten-track' experiences that we wouldn't usually have had as tourists. Thanks for everything - was a really memorable trip!

    Mangrove Garden
    Munroe Island and its stunning mangroves have gained popularity on Instagram, making it a must-visit destination. To make the most of your experience, it is advisable to plan your visit on weekdays when the place is less crowded compared to weekends. The place is just amazing, best to spend time in the middle of backwaters and thick mangroves. It is good to take a kayak as it provides freedom to go wherever you want to go without others help. Though kayaking might take a few minutes to get used to, once you get the hang of it, it becomes the easiest way to explore the beautiful surroundings. If you prefer a more relaxed experience; just to watch the mangroves and sunset you can also opt for hiring a canoe, where someone else will navigate for you.

    Peaceful and serene stay.
    We stayed in the Club mahindra resort in Ashtamudi. It was enjoyable. From there we visited Munroe Island in a speed boat. After reaching the Island we took another boat which took us through the canals of Munroe Island( arranged by Club mahindra).

    Wayanad via Ooty
    This was my first Road trip experience which I have ever dreamt of. The journey with the despatch rider started as planned on an early morning from coimbatore to Wayanad via Ooty, sharing his valuable guidelines on the importance of safe and disciplined riding, to the riders who are new to a hill station ride.

    We camped at a pleasant homestay which has a beautiful river nearby and enjoyed yummy native food along with camp fire and musical nights. The planning was perfect for all the 3 days with water fun at Kuruvadweep island,  Chembra peak Trekking, Lakkidi night view point and Thirunelli temple visit. The extraordinary adventurous experience with the trip was the Off road riding we all enjoyed at 900 acres. Needless to say the passionate addictive rider unni's power at his feet, and the control at his finger tips when riding at off road. Total freedom, total control and spirit awakened with focused ride was an amazing feel I enjoyed with him. 

    Not all riders can give you their experience as a journey on road. But you did it "The Despatch Rider". 

    In short, the 3 days at wayanad was an awesome, exciting , breathtaking , fantastic, fun filled and had a safer road trip loaded with beautiful memories. Above all we 3 of us met each other for first time but still we could make a perfect sync and all of us became good friends in the trip. Thank you so much Unni, for giving me this wonderful opportunity. :-)
