    Review of: Arakkal Museum
    One for the history lovers
    The Arakkal museum is located close to the heart of Kannur city, and is a place that mist be visited to understand the history behind the Arakkal  Ali Raja family, the only Muslim royal family in Kerala. The museum is based within the former residence of the royal family, and transports you to architecture, heirlooms and artefacts from a different era. This is a must visit for people who love their history. The museum is closed on Mondays and charges a nominal entry fee. The staff is friendly, and one gentleman in particular, ensured that we were guided appropriately on the history all around.

    Review of: Chirakkal Museum
    Has many rare antiques
    This museum is located in a place called Chirakkal which is about 5 kms from Kannur. It displays many antiques, traditional households & commercial articles, measuring instruments, agricultural implements etc. and another is the Theyyam Gallery, which exhibits and display costumes, ornaments, weapons etc..
