This was an amazing trip I saw loads of wildlife including 4 of the big 5 plus loads more. Tsavo is spectacular. I want to pay special trip to my driver/guide Francis he was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, clearly loved the animals, he made the experience even more enjoyable. I would love to come back with my family someday.

This trip was absolutely amazing. An early pick up to get to the boat where a traditional Swahili breakfast was served. The crew were fantastic! Super skilled and very friendly. We set sail and began looking for dolphins. A few swam by the boat as we headed towards the reef. On the way, we were kitted out with snorkel, mask and flippers, there is also an option for a life jacket. You have two swims for over an hour so if you’re not a strong swimmer or fully fit, I would advise a life jacket. Once we reached the reef, we all jumped in and had an experience of a lifetime. Lots of wild dolphins swimming and playing all around us. These are truly wild creatures and not like the hand fed dolphins you get in the tourist marinas. The reef was stunning! And there was plenty of beautiful fish including stingrays and octopus. The choice for lunch was chicken, fish or vegetarian. You also have the option to purchase extra seafood lobster, prawns or calamari. After lunch you have the opportunity to enjoy the local village before setting sail for the mainland. The crew really enjoy what they do and it shows in the way they look after you to give you the best experience. They take lots of underwater pictures that are available to you from a drop box, so you get to show off your day. We also visited the nearby Slave caves. I’m glad that was included in the price as I would have been disappointed if it was an extra.

Do this Safari!! You will not regret it!!! If you can, do a longer one. It is incredible.
Top tip, take binoculars to see some of the animals.
    Our guide Athans was incredible!

We got picked up from our hotel, southern palms in Diani beach at about 6am and drove to Tsavo East which took about 4 hours. You have to catch the mombassa ferry which is slightly chaotic. We stopped once on the way, just before we got to Tsavo East at a gift shop which had lots of wooden animals to buy, I did buy lots! They also had western toilets there which was good.
When we got to the park, we stopped and the driver put the top up so we could stand up and look out, it was great.

At the entrance, they sold safari hats which were cool, you can haggle them down in price, they also sold guides.

We drove in, you stick to paths and saw some elephants but needed binoculars to see.

We stopped for lunch at Aruba lodge and they had a lovey buffet and a chance to use the toilets. We then saw lots more elephants up close that afternoon, including at a watering hole. We stayed in the sanctuary till about 4 or 5pm then drove an hour to a different sanctuary to Taita Hills. We had a lovely Buffett dinner and went to bed. The hotel had a pool but we were so busy we didn’t get time to use it.

The next day at 10am we went on another safari till 1pm, we then had lunch and did an afternoon safari till 5pm ish and then went back out for a few hours just after it got dark. It was incredible, we saw so many animals in that time, zebras, giraffes, elephants and lots of other animals. Our guide was incredible at spotting all the animals and got us close. The night time safari was a really cool experience as it got dark and the ranger had a torch. We didn’t see many animals but was so worth it. I was knackered by bed time as it was a very full on day!

The next morning we had to be up and on safari by 6am! It was worth getting up early though! We saw a lioness and a cheater. We were out a few hours before we went back to the hotel for breakfast and headed back to our resort. On the way back they took us to the gift shop again where I brought more wooden animals that I saw on safari and was able to use the toilet.

The experience was incredible!!! I would definitely go again!! We saw so much and I loved every minute. Our guide, Athans was brilliant! Highly recommend him, he was through Pollmans safaris (we booked via tui). He could spot so many animals and had been doing it for 17 years, he was very experienced.

George and Joel were amazing. They worked hard to find all the animals our group were hoping to see. They are full of information about the animals and the area and made the whole trip very entertaining on top of that. I highly recommend Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris!!!

This was a fantastic excursion. A huge thank you to Mohamed, who picked me up from my accommodation; Omar that was fantastic leading the tour, giving information, and making sure everyone felt safe; and the crew that looked after the boat. I went on the boat trip solo and felt super secure. We joined up with a few other groups for the trip so I met other travellers and spent time with the whole team. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and enormous fishes, the lunch was brilliant, and overall the day was among my favourite of my Kenya trip.
I will recommend Omar’s company to all my friends!
    Thanks again Omar!

I enjoyed the experience. The driver collected as arranged in the morning and all was well organised. We just didn’t realise how much time would be spent on the water and how slow the boat would move. It could have been a shorter trip, everyone was exhausted and a bit miserable at the end. Seeing the dolphins was awesome. Lunch at the island was just ok, i felt like the platter wasn’t well explained - I wasted money by ordering it - too much food for one person and not well cooked at all. The crew were great, they really looked after us all and treated us well. They were really the cherry on top of the experience. Asante sana for a lovely once in a lifetime experience, it was great!

Our Safari in Kenya was amazing! Stanley our tour guide is the most lovely man and a fantastic tour guide. His wife Jenny organised everything brilliantly. We had the most wonderful holiday and can’t thank them both enough. Stanley is also an incredible singer and guitar player and constantly kept us entertained!

We booked this trip at our hotel. Arrangements were smooth. The trip includes hotel pick up and transport to the port to join the Dhow. All staff were really friendly. The dhow is a traditional boat. Good sun shade on board. Basic but clean toilet. My husband as a certified diver did the dive option. Two dive masters on board - excellent equipment and support - and my husband really enjoyed the dives around the corals and sea life in the area. Teenagers and I snorkelled with snorkelling guides who pointed out sea life and talked about the corals. Snacks and drinks on board were lovely and then lunch at Wasini Island was amazing. The quality and quantity were fabulous and chicken and veg alternatives. The most delicious crab any of us had ever eaten. It was great to see the sea life off the Kenyan coast and travel on a traditional dhow.

The pick up was seamless and on time. Th stop along the way (and back) was at your typical tourist trap but they offered terrible refreshments given the 4 hour journey from our hotel to the destination. The transport vehicle was also not that comfortable and was in need of a clean. What made me give a 4 was the animals. It made the journey so worthwhile and our driver who doubled up as the guide was extremely knowledgeable. The animals saved the day.
Despite it all I would go to the destination again but probably choose a different company.

We came to Kenya for vacation and relax holiday at diani beach, therefore we decided to only book a one-day safari to get a taste of the Safari life. And it was the best decision we made! The booking was very easy and uncomplicated, as well as the payment process. We got instructions and the drivers number beforehand in Case of emergeny. We left really early in the morning at 4 am and therefore we were also the first people arriving at Tsavo East. We saw everything we wanted to see and the very nice and friendly driver Henry gave us enough time to take pictures. He explained everything nicely and answered all our questions. The lunch buffet at the lodge was also really great and had a big variety to chose from. After lunch we had another game drive and left the park just in time, so that we werd back at our hotel at around 6.30 pm as planned. All in all i can totally recommend this safari trip to all people who want to dip into the Wildlife of Kenya.
