Visite this on 13th April along with family. Beach was very clean. Crowds were reasonably, which probably could be a reason too. But, Neverthless well maintained.

You may have to wait a little longer in the queue but the wait is worth it when you visit the temple. It is a well managed temple. Unlike other temples, you get adequate time to pray in front of god. It is in the heart of city and hence easily accessible. Lot of shops and hotels are located nearby.

Visited this on April 15th. reasonable crowd. But looks they have ability to control larger crowds. Staff at the prasad counters and priests were very friendly.

I visited this beach around 1 PM in the afternoon and I could see no one in the vast expanse. Due to less crowding the beach is very clean and the sound of crashing waves were extremely soothing to hear.

If one likes isolation amidst nature, this place is a must visit.

    1. This beach is neat and clean
    2. It's less crowded.
    3. The approach road is narrow and one 4 wheeler can pass at a time especially on the bridge.
    4. Long sea shore with good road stretching throughout the shore.
    5. Pleasant for a long walk or a jog.
    6. There are photography opportunities too when ships cross in front of the sun during sunset.

the waterfalls were nature's beautiful piece of work but the 15 km approach road from the highway was horrible. the road can be travelled by car. We initially thought of quitting midway but were told by a family returning form the waterfall that the waterfalls were awesome.

This place is approx 15 Km from udupi.
The local auto can also take you there. The place is not well maintained, but still holds the authenticity of the place.
The place has some interesting points which depicts the incidences in the life of the Great Saint. Worth visiting the place.

Also there are some other interesting points connected to the life of the Saint on the route back to udupi. Should not miss them

The Bank has converted the house of it's founding president into a coin museum. The collection is awesome and dates back centuries. Wonderful experience.

This is one of the another gem of a beach out of the many beaches in coastal Karnataka. This is one of Blue Flag rated beach and is noticable. The tides here are very strong and great sceneries. Had a great time. Eatables and Toilets also available.

This is a Durga Devi temple managed by Sri Adamaru Matt. Huge temple complex and has lot of facilities for performing religious functions. It has a large dining hall too. Visited this place during our trip to Udupi which is 11 kms away. Beautiful statue of Goddess. Since the temple is situated at an elevated place, surroundings are beautiful. Even Manipal is visible from here.

It’s believed that great Hindu Acharya, Sri Madhvacharya, used to visit this hill frequently from his home which is close by (2kms), now known as Pajaka Kshetra. There’s also a tall statue of this Acharya, installed on the way to this temple. Nice place to visit with family/friends just for an outing.

We visited the Gopala Krishna temple in Uppinakuduru and were intrigued with this tiny but interesting place. Recommend taking a detour down to this area if you are in the vicinity and simply want to enjoy a bit of the countryside.
