This is the second largest Lenin in the world. There used to be a similarly sized statue of Stalin on the other side, but it was taken down in the 60s.

It's a giant chair. We were there as a wedding party pulled up to take photos, very cute. It's on a main road.

This guy is one of the most known and be-loved artists in Russia, even today. In my memory he was singing about climbing, war, sea, Stalins crimes and daily problems. My farther loves his songs. He played theatre - afaik his most famous role was Hamlet at the Taganka theatre in Moscow. I learned that he gave multiple concerts in Dubna - unfortunately I never attended any. The monument is just in front of the culture house (dom kultury) where he performed.

This is a very interesting place where the history of rockets as well as an important part oh history of the city (Dubna) is rescued. The museum director is a very dedicated woman (Valentina Ushakova), able to make the guest feel very good. Their explanations are very interesting and enjoyable. The historical material collected by the museum is a true jewel.
