What travellers are saying
- SafiaAlesund, Norway6 contributionsIt's a beautiful castle/ fortress with a 360 view of Civita Castellana when reaching the top. They didn't speak English so I didn't understand anything. Entrance was free. Guided tour, couldn't roam freely.Written 1 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mirela CRome, Italy52 contributionsMy boyfriend loves Etruscan heritage while I am absolutely fascinated by the Roman history and we both love history. Via Amerina is the perfect place to satisfy both of us, as you have an amazing blend of etruscan and roman heritage.
Absolutely recommended, together with a stop at Falerii Novi and its beautiful Church; reachable easily by car.Written 29 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two area you need to find. The first is downstairs under the altar and the second is a small room off the top left side through some small wooden doorsWritten 2 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - malvern09London,UK505 contributionsThe Castle Museum (free entry) is set in an impressive building, which looms over the town. There is a good collection of Etruscan artefacts from nearby sites - enough to make it worth seeing, but not so much that your eyes glaze over.Written 6 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ERIC WKnoxville, TN4,404 contributionsYep. It’s a Dragon fountain. It’s in the middle of Central Park. Nothing special or worth going out of your way to see but hard to miss because it’s a small townWritten 3 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
