A fab day at Levi ice karting. My children loved the snow tubing! We couldn’t get on the ice karting track this time so will book in advance next time! Cafe is warm and you can get hot drinks and snacks. We had hot chocolates and hot dogs. Pizza was also nice. You can snow tube for as long as you like - unlimited rides - great for coming in for a rest and warm up before returning back out with the kids!
Definitely worth a visit. Cheaper if you don’t ice Kart for any families who don’t want to ice kart and just prefer to snow then.

We absolutely loved our time at Kidsland. We made some very special family memories which we will never forget while sledging here. It’s a great place! I wish we were there right now.

Levilla kaydessa ala Jaya kaymatta. Huippu ruoka iloinen ja ystavallinen palvelu. When you visit in Levi don’t miss this place. Marvelous food, cheerful and lovely service. And don’t forget the snow castle.

The visit to this place was good, it was a series of activities and things we did, the entrance is somewhat cheap, they offer you a rich cup of chocolate which is necessary due to the cold, we fed the reindeer, we saw the way of life of the population and some details that are important in the town. If you have time you can spend a pleasant afternoon…

When I came here with my mother and brother in 2014 just before Christmas, we were only there for one day but it was filled with events. You will be able to visit the ice hotel, where everything is made of solid ice, from the beds, the walls and even a bar with shot glasses made of ice, you can even smash them on the ground after downing a shot of vodka. You will meet elves there in large wooden huts, but these aren't the tiny elves with large ears you'd expect, but quite large and normal looking. Since this place is so high up on the planet, and since it was winter, you don't get sunlight for long; it tends to get dark around 4pm. All warm clothes are provided once you are there, but be careful, even just taking off your gloves you will feel the icy chill. There are sleds pulled by reindeer although these are slow, if you want something fast try a husky ride; as you race through the dark woods you will feel the ice cold wind lashing at your cheeks, for me it was the best part of the trip; just enjoy the experience while you can because they only let each family ride once. You can go down ice slides and make huge snow angels, just laying back you are swallowed by the snow, then we met Father Christmas. You are transported to a small hut and once inside you see an old man wearing red, when I met him he spoke with a Russian accent; we had our photos taken but since my brother and I were both in our teens we didn't get any gifts, my mother is still annoyed about that.

The peak is 581m above sea level and is easily accessible through gondola. There is one restaurant at the top and a campfire too. There is a marked walking trail which is suitable for children as well. The views are splendid from the top. The place is very windy and it is advisable to be fully covered to enjoy the views for longer time.

Our family, with kids aged 6 and 7, had a fantastic time(3H) at Water World Levi today. The slide was fun, the outdoor and indoor Jacuzzis were hot, and the kids loved going from the cold to warm pools. The 30-minute virtual aqua aerobics class in the big pool was great, although that pool was a bit cold. There were plenty of life jackets, pool noodles, and toys for the kids to play with. Everything was clean, quiet, and there were no queues. Good to know that in Finland, swimming costumes are not used in public showers, saunas, or steam rooms.

We went for the New Years experience. I booked the transfers, Shaman dinner, magician, 10 coins for spending and the fireworks event. 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 12.

Upon arrival we were given a map however we ended up getting very confused as to where the Shaman dinner was and had to find a member of staff to assist. Signage was really poor and we were told the wrong building by the member of staff at the gate. The dinner was scheduled for 6.30 and We ended up being late arriving but shouldn’t have worried as they didn’t open the doors until nearer 7pm. Not the end of the world but it meant we were hanging around outside when we could have been doing an activity and used our coins.

Dinner was lovely. Great quality food and an unusual experience as we had to cook the food it a hot pot of broth.

After dinner my children decided they wanted to spend the coins at the hill slide so we rushed off before the magic show to find the start of the slide. Eventually found it and realised the mats you had to use to slide down could only be purchased right at the start of the village. We didn’t have enough time to trek back to the village, get the mats, do the slides and make it to the magic show in time so just gave up on being able to use our coins at that point.

The magic show itself was ok. Nothing special, lots of card tricks. I was expecting something a bit more mystical but it did keep the kids entertained for an hour. In hindsight I wish I hadn’t booked this and just let the kids do one of the activities instead.

After the show the activities all stopped ( I was aware this would be the case) and the parade and fireworks show began. The fireworks were amazing - best part of the night as the northern lights also made an appearance.

Overall, I was disappointed with Arcandia. I think better signage/visitor information and more staff could make a huge improvement to the guest experience.

This is a beautiful river that goes next to Levi. There are nice spots by the river on which you can have a bond fire, fish, swim and go canoeing.
