He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. We were ready for cold drinks by the time we arrived in Ragusa; for me pommegranite and orange mixed, for David, expresso, John and Kate chose local lemonades. Refreshed were we on our way again. Our trip met all expectations and more. We covered a lot of geography and visited several locations and towns. We took photos at each scene; Montalbano's interview rooms, the Don's abode in Castello Donnafugata, lunch in Punte Secca and seeing Montalbanos famous balcony! And finally the piazza and Montalbano's office. Enrico our guide there was terrific and let us into secrets of the cast and production. This tour was a lot of fun. - Alan OCoventry, UK8 contributionsI'm a photographer and a fan of the Montalbano TV series (and books) so thought I might combine the too with a few days in Sicily that would include a Montalbano tour. Some research told me that Lemontour were the best people to contact and the research was not wrong. For a very reasonable price Lemontour set me up with a whole day Montalbano tour just with me and a driver/guide whose knowledge and English were quite brilliant. From my hotel in Catania we visited Scicli, Punta Secca and Ragusa. A brilliant day finding the spirit of Montalbano. - Martin F1 contributionAmazing itinerary, our guide was incredible. We spent fantastic holidays in Sicily. So much great impressions: amazing nature of Etna, very friendly people, hidden towns and historical places, delicious cuisine, very polite and available hotel's persons. Our trip was absolutely fab. It's mix of a great nature, huge variety of hotel's nature (olives, aromas, gardens..), famouse Sicilian towns and Sicilian Baroque Towns UNESCO sites, local food and wines. - Peter K1 contributionOur private taxi journey of more than 9 hours took us around all the major locations used in the TV series. Our driver Ricardo, was very knowledgeable both of the TV series and Sicilian life. In our journey we touched upon about every subject of modern Sicily as well as the history with Greek, Roman and Arab heritage.
This tour is not just a change to experience the sets and locations used in the 1990s series, it's a chance to see inside Sicilian life.

We were picked up by Giovanni at 9am and while we drove to the first location we were kept entertained with an iPad presentation on Sicily. We visited Il Castello di Donnafugata (home of the Mafia boss), Punta Secca (his house) & Scicli Town Hall (the police station) where you can visit the set. Giovanni also dropped us off at an excellent restaurant where we had a lovely lunch. We were dropped back to our hotel at 5pm. Giovanni spoke good English and pointed out lots of things as we were driving from place to place. - Susan SBraintree, UK1 contributionCame here with my husband for our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely experience is Cassa de montabalno. Maria the housekeeper was amazing. Very helpful friendly and when we arrived we had to organise a Covid test. She organised it with the help of Ivana and we were very happy that they helped us.
Maria was a source of information and arranged us to go on a day tour on a Montabalno Day Tour with Nunzio the taxi driver. We had a wonderful day. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone who loves the tv show.
Only negative was we missed the season and not many restaurants were open but we didn’t starve. We bought our food in the local shop and ate on the balcony in the evening.

The driver arrived on time. His driving was very professional, and his vehicle was comfortable, making the trip very smooth.
We had plenty of time at each location in order to indulge ourselves.
We weren't expecting a guide to accompany our tour, but it was a pleasant surprise to have one accompany us, especially one as knowledgeable and friendly as Desiree.
