This was my third visit to THE CAPITAL with its busy roads, streets and footpaths! So, I wanted to get out if the metropolis and see some of the Mizo traditions! Our visit was both enjoyable and educational! DO IT!

This is located near high end locality in North Aizawl and has a mausoleum built by a school teacher for his wife. The views around this place are awesome but this building is in a bad shape.

Such a beautiful place and yet it was empty. You will learn many new things about this place from here. They have very little fee charge.
I will recommend all to visit this place to seek knowledge about Mizoram.

The graveyard astonished me because almost half of its area lay overhanging from the slope of the hill on a rocky unapproachable terrain and yet I could spot numerous tombs and memoir-stones in that portion.

For those who like boating or swimming, I think this is a must-visit destination. I spent nearly two hours boating over the entire stretch of the Lake, spotting birds with my binoculars.

A person loses his wife in an accident. To make her memory last he builds up a Memorial using his best resources. Being white marble, it is called Taj or KV Paradise. To approach the place you need to struggle. Maybe they can put more markings to locate this place. As it is near Hurtling Hills it is one of the Highest Place in Aizawl giving panoramic view of the city. There is collection of personal things of the deceased. I liked the spirit of the person who made it.

Its the higher water fall of Aizawl. Such a beautiful place in the dense Forrest.Keep this in mind that there is nothing available near here except this natural beauty.

There were varieties of trees, moss-covered stretches, orchids and squirrels inside the sanctuary. But I could barely spot any wild animal except a few deers and two wild boars.

One of the officials had explained that the animals are kept here in the environment like their natural habitat so sometimes visitors might be disappointed as they are less visible.

The monument has a white-sandstone finish, which I wondered at for a long time to identify. The inside has numerous artworks, murals and carvings on the walls which depict the historical story of love between the lovers of the Palian clan.

This Gurudwara was built by Border Roads Organisation who started development of road network under Project Pushpak in 1967. This Gurudwara and a temple nearby were constructed during the course of this project. Most of the sikhs (and from other religions too) from Aizawl and nearby places visit this place on Sunday mornings.
