- Sophie RChorley, UK4 contributionsThe whale and dolphin watching experience did not disappoint. We saw a couple of pods of pilot whales and some bottle nosed dolphins. The captain of the boat made sure we had plenty of time to watch them and maneuvered the boat to see them from different angles.
The stop in the bay for food and a swim was lovely with snorkeling equipment provided. The food was tasty and drinks were kept flowing for the whole trip.

The highlight of my holiday. Small boat that takes a maximum of 11 people. Booked via website as no actual office to deal with which made me feel better from reviews as not your typical booze cruise etc. Unfortunately my husband was ill on the day but went alone. Jon our guide made me feel comfortable being alone and his passion for taking us to his office and its residents was so comforting. Complete respect shown to the pod of pilot whales we encountered was amazing and the only way to enjoy these incredible animals. No dolphins on the day but that's the way it's is in the natural world. Spotted a sizeable pod, mums and babies and a lone male. Learnt so much including the birds spotted. Fished out some floating plastic whilst out so a plus point to help environment. Received fab pictures that were taken on our tour (not just a generic set of pics as I could see the head of the lady sat beside me dangling her go pro over the side). I will be back, with husband next time and hopefully in the spring when higher chances of spotting more migratory animals. Thank you so much. - Elliott S15 contributionsThis was a great snorkeling and scuba excursion on our trip to Tenerife! The Travel Sub Dive Center treated us three scuba beginners with warm hospitality and island grace. Guiermo, Rueben, Romana, and the office staff all were quite welcoming, and exhibited enormous patience with a boat full of novices. Though we did not see any sea turtles, the marine life was abundant - and the underwater photos taken by the crew were fantastic! Daniel, Rico and Emily made the whole experience a great one, from the initial form filling and kitting out in all the gear, to the instructions on how to drive the quads, and by being so knowledgeable on the various stops. The actual sunset was spectacular and I would recommend the experience to everyone visiting Tenerife. - Jacqui FAmersham, UK29 contributionsWe booked the trip through our hotel with tor operator White Tenerife.
We specifically chose the sailing boat with only small capacity for passengers, although the same company does offer larger party tours and has other vessels. The boat was spotless and the skipper, Raoul was welcoming.
He was extremely knowledgeable and we were given a wealth of information about the ocean environment, bio diversity and type of whales we could expect to see as well as other sea creatures. He also kept us well informed of the areas we were sailing to and the surrounding landscapes and points of interest.
After experiencing the close up sightings of the whales and flying fish, we sailed to a bay and the boat anchored for passengers to swim in the ocean, have refreshments and a light lunch.
Our trip lasted around 3.5 hours in total and was a really memorable experience.

- Donna D1 contributionWent on the sunset and stargazing trip last night absolutely amazing night , good food and wine then too see the sunset which was out of this world, then on too stargazing our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable of the sunset and stars , and can also speak several different languages.

The guide explained what to expect ant guided us through the day. We had some nice stops at little towns where we took a slow walk and at some stops we had some leisure to spend alone without the group. Each stop was very nice! We had a bigger break to have lunch at a restaurant in the national park of Teide - would not recommend eating there. You don’t have to eat there, this is just a suggestion of the guide. Food was not good and the restaurant wasn’t very nice either. Overall a great tour which gives a very nice overview of the great island. Our guide was very nice and explained much more things than expected! Do not book this tour if you are scared of narrow and curvy roads.
The downside for me was the bus. The bus was clean and nice but if you have a bit longer legs you have a big problem.
