It was my first time to visit the Chin Swee Station and the Chin Swee Caves Temple, and it was super amazing and memorable!

We really enjoy our time here, there is a big Buddha statue, and so many statues describing how bad attitudes will lead a person to bad destinations (afterlife).

Cable cars are a good option to move from the Highlands peak area to Awana area... but if can get very crowded on peak periods. Alternatively we used Grab and the cost is almost the same for a family of 4.

Took a cable car from genting premium outlets and entered sky avenue. Lots of stores, indoor theme park and it connects to all the hotels and casinos too. Great place.

Strawberry farm is a great place to visit while on the way to Genting Highlands. Beautiful flowers all colors. Well organized strawberry rows, take a basket and a scissor, pick your strawberries, weigh them and it’s all yours. Pass by the gallery to buy any strawberry pencils, souvenirs, pillows and others. Don’t forget to drink a cup of fresh strawberry.
    Pleasant visit.

A month ago today, Saturday 15.10.22 First World Plaza Hotel in Genting Highlands.

This used to be my haunt as I was one of the building material supplier for this hotel plus other projects up in the highlands back when I was in this industry in my twenties and early thirties.

So much has changed and improved on though lots more brands and outlets as well as eatery. Very good weekend crowd as usual 💛

Countless Indoor rides right in the middle of the mall.. many different types of rides for the young toddlers to the adventure teens.
Tickets are available onsite for choice of rides to take or u can purchase the unlimited full day access for all rides. Certain rides are meant only for young children and some are meant only for taller kids so do take note when buying the ride tickets. U can spend a good 3-4hours depending on queues and choice of rides.

Amazing park with the best weather conditions. Perfect for the family outing with kids ranging from infant to mid teens.
Various rides from the mild kiddy rides, the fabulous 3D engagements to the thrill seeking excited rides. Decor of each areas are done to perfection and plenty of sitting areas for tired parents. Lots of shows in different theme areas every hour and many snack food options everywhere in park.
U can leave the theme park and re enter again using the advance QR code system.
Overall the perfect full day itinerary to spend on the Highlands area. Pity they only open at 11am.. can get very crowded during peak periods.

Ripley's Adventureland is the part of Genting Resort that are mainly for exhibitions. Perhaps targeted at really young kids or elderlies who couldn't take rides. Maybe not the most exciting part of Genting Resort - so not many people visited. So what it has was:
    - Jungle Gym - indoor soft play playground for toddlers
    - Zombie Outbreak
    - Jurassic Research Centre
    - Ripley's Odditorium of course, was the main exhibition there
    - Healing Touch - a massage place with tanks of fishes eating your feet's dead skin - I think spa-enthusiasts like this

You could visit just one of them, or get combo prices if you chose to visit two or more. We only visited the Jurassic Research Centre - filled with animatronic-alized dinosaurs and life-size fossils. Cool for kiddos who like dinosaurs!
