- Tamalika M578 contributionsMust visit in your Gangtok trip. The most happening place - a lot of restaurants to try out, not much option for shopping though. There are some gift shops from when you can buy souvenirs. Lot of bakeries and ice cream parlors. If not interested in shopping, just stroll around the road.Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MananAggarwal96New Delhi, India118 contributionsThere are 2 Temples that have been constructed by the Indian Armed Forces.
One is known as the Old Baba Mandir and the other is know is known as the New Baba Mandir.
Taxi charges about additional 1500/- for a tour of old baba mandir as it away from the Natu La - Baba Mandir (New) and Tsomgo Lake circuit.
We went to New Baba Mandir.
The temple/samadhi was constructed in the memory of the Baba Harbhajan Singh ji.
Baba Harabhajan Singh Ji attained martyrdom and his mortal remains could not be found.
However, after attaining martyrdom Baba Harbhajan Singh Ji communicated about thr location of the mortal remain to one of his colleagues in the latter’a dream. And further requested for a Samadhi.
The mortal remains of Baba Harbhajan Singh were found there and the security forces constructed a Samadhi/memorial.
It is a tourist friendly place. Very well maintained by the Black Cat Division of the Indian Security forces.
There is a memorial, souvenir shop and temple and canteen.
Best memory of my Sikkim trip.
It is truly amazing to see how the Indian Armed Forces honours our Martyrs.Written 2 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Sightsee13617228549Mumbai, India6 contributionsit was a nice waterfall. its surrounding is also very nice. water flow was good. we clicked some pics and bought souveniers from outside shops.Written 17 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Tamalika M578 contributionsWe were slightly disappointed at the duration of the ropeway. Its hardly 5 mins ride from one point to another. 20 people are allowed inside the cabin at a time, so you better secure a good spot if you want to click good pictures.Written 17 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
