It's got very good collection and an equally helpful staff.
Though personally I feel the stuff was a bit over priced compared to the quality of cloth - but there is no denying the designs are amazing. And holidays are meant to do shopping. So I would suggest it's a must visit shop in Pondy.Written 21 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Monte-Christo37 contributionsThe Pondicherry Museum is a small but well-curated museum that offers a fascinating glimpse into Pondicherry’s rich past. From ancient Chola bronze sculptures to beautifully preserved French colonial furniture, the collection is diverse and intriguing.
The museum is located right near Bharathi Park, so it’s an easy stop if you’re exploring the area.
The entry fee is super affordable (around ₹10-₹50, depending on nationality), and while the museum itself isn’t huge, you can easily spend an hour or so admiring the exhibits. If you enjoy history or just want to escape the heat for a bit, it’s definitely worth a visit!Written 7 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon CToronto, Canada265 contributionsWe had an absolutely delightful experience here. We attended a Creole Cooking class with Manisha - who was warm and friendly and a skilled, experienced cook! First we prepared the food, then we cooked the food, then Manisha served us the food on traditional banana leaf ‘plates’. Everything was fresh & delicious. Manisha was very respectful of our western palates and didn’t push us into anything too hot or spicy for our taste. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and absolutely recommend it without hesitation!Written 29 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Climber129315467151 contributionI had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bodhi Spa. From start to finish, my 90-minute session was pure relaxation and rejuvenation. Ms. Esther, who took care of my session, was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, addressing all my questions with patience and expertise. The massage itself was outstanding - exactly what I needed to unwind and de-stress.
Right after the session, I felt deeply relaxed and refreshed, and that night, I had the best sleep I’ve had in months. The ambiance was incredibly soothing, with calming background music that made me feel as if I had entered a magical, peaceful heaven.
If you're looking for a place to truly relax, release stress, both physically and mentally, I highly recommend Bodhi Spa. It’s an experience you won’t regret!Written 17 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
