Could have been much better on the activities front and also, the prices are too high for any food we purchase. That's it!

Rock beach as the name suggests has lot of big rocks lining up the shore so it's not really accessible along the complete strip. The area around rock beach is a happening area and pedestrian only which is a great initiative. It's highly recommended during sunset.

Serenity Beach is located near Kottakuppam, which is more of a fishing village than a typical tourist attraction on the outskirts of Puducherry. A narrow road connects the beach to the ECR. The development of this as a tourist attraction has considerable potential for improvement. Although the beach has beautiful views, it needs to be cleaned because we can see rum, wine, and whiskey bottles, as well as papers with food waste on them. Walking on the beach is challenging.

Veerampattinam Beach is one of the most beautiful places in Pondicherry sightseeing. This village holds an integral place in Pondicherry’s history and hosts some of the most exuberant festivals. It is known as one of the most gorgeous beaches in south India and attracts a lot of tourists. Visitors at Veerampattinam beach can also watch the fishermen who work with their traditional nets to catch their daily fish.

    Location: Veerampattinam, Pondicherry
Distance from Pondicherry Bus Stand: It is about 10 kilometres from the bus stand

Got a scooter at the last minute along with my friends and got it for cheap. The rate was very good especially since we’re students. We got a cliq and an activa. We used it with no problems through the rain and the beaches of Pondicherry.

Here's my story: I wanted to do open water dive in Oct'22 but was really scared about it. So, I booked my course, went to Pondicherry and came back home w/o taking the course. Unexpectedly, Shavir from Temple Adventure called me and talked about 40 mins to tell me everything about how they train and their process and everything else about Scuba.

Thanks to Shavir and cut to Jan'23 - I did go Pondicherry and successfully completed my course. The best of diving with Temple is that they have a very detailed and elaborate process of training. On day-0, we were trained about the equipment (our instructor, Akhil) took about 1-2 hours to just explain every detail of the equipments. It was followed by confined pool training - which was another 3 hours exercise, wherein we practiced all the skills needed to dive.

Next day - we dived in lake, where we also had swimming and float test. Inside the lake, we demonstrated the skills we had learned on day 0. And, we did learn new skills as well (like navigation). We had 2 dives on day-1

Final day of training and certification - we dived in ocean and all the fear, doubts and everything else - they just fade away once you enter the water. We did two dives and the last one was a fun dive, wherein we just hovered around. I felt very relaxed and saw different fishes as well :-)

My friend and I are already planning advanced and deep course with Temple, but goes w/o saying that Temple is the best place to learn to dive and dive in India. End of the day, very thankful to Shavir, Akhil and Adit (intern at Temple who assisted us in dive).

Strongly recommending Temple adventures for everyone who wants to dive. And, even if you are not sure if diving is for you - call them, I am sure, they'll help you make the right decision.

I took 5 lessons with the people from this school and it was super fun with them. Camilla was great to organize the lessons with and Juan and Rizzie were great instructors, you can tell they're hella experienced. They're practical with their tips and tricks and will be patient with you. The school has all the gear you'd need, in good condition too.

PS - If you make it to the lesson before time, you might get offered coffee

I did my PADI advanced open water course , had an awesome amazing experience.

All the dive sites were rich in marine life. Had plenty of fish species in all the dive sites which included large groupers, remoras, lionfishes, snappers...thousands of them. I would definitely recommend to experience diving from the amazing team in amazing dive sites, where you can witness rich marine life.

I am so glad I did this. Wiuth our super friendly, knowledgable guide Manisha, we cycled a couple of hours in the early hours of the morning before the traffic was too bad, and explored the various areas of Pondiceherry. It really was a great way to see the city, and at the same time get some much needed exercise!

A big thanks to Sita Cultural centre, and Lakhsmi and Manisha!

It was an absolutely long trip and with a kid involved there are certain challenges, we are thankful to Mr Mani for making sure the trip was a comfortable one inspite of few shortcomings in between which is very normal during long tours . My daughter loves the beach so the highlight for her way how wonderfully beaches were incorporated in the itinerary, the house boat in Kerala was also her fav. My parents visited some very old temples with lot of significance and history which they enjoyed. The accommodations provided throughout the tour were clean , comfortable & friendly apart from the one at Rameswaram, the staffs there weren't helpful but when communicated to Mr Mani he made sure everything was taken care .
We recommend his services ... Thank you for the memories made ...
