    Silence & Peace
    The Sri Aurobindo Ashram is one of the most famous and wealthy ashrams in India. The Ashram is within walking distance of Manakula Vinayagar Temple and Rock Beach. Through permanent exhibits of photographs, captions, tests, videos, and books, the center also provides an introduction to Sri Aurobindo's vision and The Mother's spiritual practice. Only a small portion of the premises is accessible to visitors. The environment is extremely calm and serene. Inside the building, you are not allowed to use your phone or speak. Outside the ashram, your shoes and chappals must be removed and placed on racks opposite the ashram. Cleanliness and order are maintained in the ashram by volunteers and associates. It is worth going, but there is not a lot to do or see.

    Nice hangout
    Its a nice hangout for an evening walk besides an esplanade. There are a lot of food joints as well.

    Connecting past with present
    This is the place which lists down what all restorations have been done in and around Pondicherry. In a way it takes us back to olden times and shows what Pondicherry really was - a quiet sea side holiday town, long before the excellent connectivity with neighbouring cities transformed it into a weekend holiday destination. The place helps us connect the past of Pondicherry with the present.

    Visible from a distance, Pondicherry Lighthouse is a nice spot for clicks and views. Located near the main tourist areas in the city.

    Calm and Spacious Shiva Temple
    This is an old and wonderfully decorated Shiva temple. The sculptures and wall paintings are beautifully executed and maintained. There is an amazing painted ceiling. The sheer variety of deities is fantastic The noise and bustle of the main road disappear when you step through the door. The place has a quiet spiritually about it. There were no restrictions on photography.

    Attractive
    This church is situated at Madha Koil Street, Ariyankuppam, Puducherry. The Church of Our Lady of Good Health opens all days a week, and the timings of the church remain the same in all seasons. Only the mass timings differ day wise. Appearance of the Church of Our Lady of Good Health is more like a castle from old time. It is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites and tourist attractions in Pondicherry.

    Ancient Temple of Shiva in the Middle of the City: Peaceful, Clean campus.
    This is a beautifully decorated ancient temple with so many small temples within the premises and also a stagnant water pond at the back side with so many white fish in it. The most attractive part is the nicely depicted murals covering myths from our ancient scriptures.
