It's a peaceful and serene walk lined with cafes and historical statues, a light house a pier and houses with lovely Bougainville that makes for a pretty backdrop for pictures. Morning walkers and joggers will find this an excellent place.

Rock beack is one of the best places in Pondy. Enjoy the cool waters and cool breeze of Bay of Bengal while having fun during your trip.

Located off ECR in the Kottakuppam Area, this is not exactly a tousist spot but rather a fishing village. The beach, as such, is peaceful and it is possible to enter the waters. The access road from ECR is quite narrow. Plenty of scope for improvement if this is to be developed as a tourist attraction

The name appears to be because a house boat is parked to view. Overall the place is for a boat ride to the Paradise beach on the sea front. The boat ride was good and reasonably fast. However, gets a bit crowded. The Paradise beach was quite a clean beach not too crowded and worthy of a visit. There are shade places near the beach where one can sit and enjoy.

The beach is a bit dirty but am awesome place to take pics and njoy. The beach looks lonely and waves are strong. There is not much snacks near the beach. Parking is there.

Everything in Pondicherry is huge. They probably have a lot of open space! Bharti park is one of them. They have walking areas, play areas, toilets inside, lot of greenery. Close to the French town area.

The place is the residence of the LG of Pondicherry and hence entry is not permitted. One can however have a look at the expansive garden and the intricate carvings on the various statues.

Small quiet, peaceful and clean town.It was a French colony and still has some French flavor left, particularly in the area called white town. This is also where great revolutionary turned saint Sri Aurobindo settled for rest òf his life. Try stay at white town area and enjoy walk to nearby seabeach and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Morning or evening walk at the beach is enjoyable. A day trip to Auroville would be nice. View of Mother's temple after a long walk is satisfying.

This statue of Mohandas Gandhi is on the main promenade in Pondicherry. The views of the sea from near the statue are great. In the evening, on few particular special nights, this statue is lit up providing nice background to the promenade and the sea shore.
