- niluanuChennai (Madras), India443 contributionsLocated off ECR in the Kottakuppam Area, this is not exactly a tousist spot but rather a fishing village. The beach, as such, is peaceful and it is possible to enter the waters. The access road from ECR is quite narrow. Plenty of scope for improvement if this is to be developed as a tourist attractionWritten 20 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- IYERSSMumbai, India222 contributionsThe name appears to be because a house boat is parked to view. Overall the place is for a boat ride to the Paradise beach on the sea front. The boat ride was good and reasonably fast. However, gets a bit crowded. The Paradise beach was quite a clean beach not too crowded and worthy of a visit. There are shade places near the beach where one can sit and enjoy.Written 6 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 24x7TravellingBoyBengaluru, India154 contributionsThe beach is a bit dirty but am awesome place to take pics and njoy. The beach looks lonely and waves are strong. - UtpalDeyKolkata (Calcutta), India72 contributionsSmall quiet, peaceful and clean town.It was a French colony and still has some French flavor left, particularly in the area called white town. This is also where great revolutionary turned saint Sri Aurobindo settled for rest òf his life. Try stay at white town area and enjoy walk to nearby seabeach and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Morning or evening walk at the beach is enjoyable. A day trip to Auroville would be nice. View of Mother's temple after a long walk is satisfying.
.Written 4 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Deadman17Mumbai, India568 contributionsThis statue of Mohandas Gandhi is on the main promenade in Pondicherry. The views of the sea from near the statue are great. In the evening, on few particular special nights, this statue is lit up providing nice background to the promenade and the sea shore.Written 30 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
