An absolute favourite of mine walking along the beach when the faro comes into site. You can walk to the very top and look at the amazing views over the Atlantic sea. Very well maintained and in close proximity to the lovely bodegas.

Beautiful cathedral on the beach. Finally got to go in without their being a mass on. A very pleasant church. It dates back I believe to the 17centry. Outside there's a saint( I believe ) buried. Could not find any information in English. Worth going to see when in the area. Not always open though.

Very nice . This is a great walkway along a very clean promenade and a beautiful clean beach . Tractors were racking it at the end of January Sooo clean and not a sign of rubbish anywhere. It is one of the best beaches iv seen in Europe.

This area of Spain doesn’t bury the dead in the ground, but in crypts above ground, one family per. Clean and quiet, always busy with visitors. Interesting for those of us with much different burial customs.

We came across this by accident walking along the promenade. Very interesting to read the information board and then also see it currently being worked by local fishermen. Worth a look

This is one of the monuments seen as you amble along the Spanish town’s “boardwalk”, a walkway going for miles along the Spanish coast town of Chipiona. Adjacent to “el Centre” which is a popular walking and shopping area. Lined with tapas bars for dining or drinking pleasure.

Would’ve loved to see the inside but unfortunately it was closed. Still pretty amazing architecture even from the outside

Simple Bodega type base on site with typical compacted dirt patio to meet with friends, sample the types of Moscatel and enjoy the time. Some of the best ecamples of Moscatel of the local area. Good cheese also available to accompany the wine. Moscatel de Pasas here is very good and they have two sizes of glass, large and normal. Price is excellent for top quality sweet wine. Highly recommend as place to meet for night of tapa hopping!

We were the only people visiting, they seemed very pleased to see us. They found 3 chameleons outside for us to see. There is a presentation whic explains the life of the chameleons, the importance of conserving this bit of coastline and explains the coracles which is an old way of fishing. The presentation is in Spanish with French subtitles. The information on the display walls which repeats much of the presentation is in Spanish and English. We were really glad to have visited. It is free.
