- 1GiantsMSoSedona, AZ1,196 contributionsA bit of a hike up the stairs from the town Marketplace but a very impressive view. The town has made improvements since taking over the site but still lots of work to be done. People were very friendly. Definitely want to be ready for the hike upwards.Written 19 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- crybaby21sgSingapore, Singapore200 contributionsWe traveled to Wertheim Village from Frankfurt. I don't know how it was like pre-pandemic but there are not many ways you can get to Wertheim Village from Frankfurt, if you dont drive. The shuttle is not daily, and there is no train. The best way is by Flixbus, which takes about an hour and 10 mins. Only this one bus in the daytime at about 11am, and the return trip is about 530pm, leaving you with just about enough time to shop. The bus stop for the journey back is just across the road from where you stop when you arrive (don't follow the directions on the Flix app, which is slightly different).Written 13 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DonPauloRichmond, Virginia1,216 contributionsCistercian monasteries are often the most interesting. The philosophy of a self-sustaining existence leads to a somewhat common architecture style. Often placed by streams and rivers, the Cistercian monasteries usually have mills and sometimes forges. Bronnbach is no exception.
The building is under a long-term, incremental renovation. The administration has opted to sponsor concerts and the sale of local wines. The halls are often used for weddings and other social events.
As a tourist destination it has advantages and shortcomings, most related to the relatively limited tourist flow. Schedules are annoyingly flexible and things often seem disorganized. The tour we took was highly informative and our guide extremely knowledgeable. On the positive side, the lack of visitors enabled us to move freely and at our own pace.
The cafe offered a nice variety of tasty cakes and pastries. The wine degustation could have been more informative and better thought out. Instead, it was more of a restaurant portion at a very reasonable price. Alas, it was not informative enough for us to make our usual purchase of bottled wines.
Still, Kloster Bronnbach is well worth the small entrance fee.Written 16 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The two story toy shop was wonderful to explore. The glass shop was absolutely amazing and a must to visit. The clothing shops had many colorful items.Written 19 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Do walk to the store, Glaskunst where you see much more variety.Written 2 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some of the German towns we visited were amazing and Wertheim a town of preserved medieval history did not disappoint.

The Jewish display has been given more prominence since 2016. Displays in German and English described the life and history of the Jewish residents of Wertheim and how they were treated and eliminated during the third Reich. Many of the displays focus on families that lived there. It is worth a visit.Written 22 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mike rBromsgrove, UK1,320 contributionsThis wishing well is certainly not the most attractive, but holds an interesting history when the stories of the carved figures is explained. It fits well into this quirky town.Written 24 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- imdarksideFountain Inn, SC662 contributionsThe blue house is neat to see as part of the old Town section of werthhiem between the rivers but around the corner is a free bathroom which is a rare find in these River towns.
