The coffee estate is easy to reach, google maps directions are accurate. The staff there is very warm and welcoming and the process of getting your tour booked is easy. They have a good variety of food in the restaurant, right next to the coffee plantation. Ravi was our guide for the evening and he made our tour of the plantation very enjoyable and fun. He’s extremely informative about everything at the plantation and was very patient with our constant doubts and queries. It was also lovely to be accompanied by their unofficial tour dog, rocky who led us through the plantation in his own style. Overall, a very informative and fun experience that I’d recommend to anyone who’s interested in coffee and all the works around it.

Nestled amidst a serene landscape in Coorg, the organic coffee plantation tour and experience center we had the pleasure of visiting was a delightful immersion into nature's bounties.

We were captivated by the lush greenery that surrounded us. Our guide Mr Pratham took us on a beautiful trek and showed us around the coffee plants while providing information about their organic farming methods.
We saw many other plants like pepper spice and turmeric that were grown and harvested on the plantation too.

The highlight of the tour was their Experience centre in Madikeri, where we were shown different methods and equipment to brew coffee and their roasting process.

The organic coffee plantation tour and experience centre exceeded my expectations and would recommend you to give them a visit if in Coorg.

Located in the Brahmagiri hill at a height of 1276 m above sea level and which is at a distance of 48 km from Madikeri, It is one of the popular tourist spots in Coorg. It holds high religious importance thus attracts hordes of religious tourists.

Talakaveri is said to be the source of River Cauvery. Although the source that is the flow of water is not always visible. During rainy season, one can get a glimpse of the same.

Advertised as a walking tour of town. But guide wanted us to go by car.
Had good knowledge of flowers, but very little about history, architecture, folk lore.
Happy to take us to additional scenic points and shops.

The advertised description doesn’t match the actual experience. In reality what I got was a car and a driver with limited knowledge of Hindi and no ability in English.
There was no guide or any of the other items in the “included items”.
Your booking gets outsourced to another company, who in turn book an driver. Thus you are paying for two sets of commissions and can get a car & driver for half the cost (~4500 Indian Rupees).
On the plus note, the Buddhist golden temple and the coffee plantation tour is a must see.

The provider (Yo Tours) are very unprofessional. I booked the tour for 5pm on a Sunday but got a call at 8am Sunday morning to say that the tour was not possible because there were not enough food places to go in Madikeri! If this is the case then why do they offer a Madikeri Food Crawl tour?? They offered me a spice and coffee tour instead, which I didn't want so I asked for a refund which I was told I would receive.
I called Yo Tours at 4.15pm on Sunday to make sure my refund was being processed but I was told that they had found a tour guide and that I needed to be in Madikeri at 5pm. We had made other plans so I said that it was not possible. They then said that because I had cancelled at short notice that I would not receive a refund. After arguing on the phone the representative from Yo Tours then hung up when. I accused them of lying to me and trying to scam me. I then got a call from the tour guide to say that he would be happy to give the tour on Monday at 5pm instead so I agreed.

The tour guide was excellent even though he had never given a good tour before. He showed us around a few places in Madikeri. We had some puffs, sweet cookies, Puri masala, masala dosa, burfi and other Indian sweets. It did seem a bit disjointed because the guide was clearly making it up as he went along. The tour lasted 1.5 hours.

Do not use Yo Tours. They are not professional and they are not honest.
