What travellers are saying
- EMBE762Maastricht, The Netherlands567 contributionsThe beach is in fact on two sides, the bay side and the sea side. Both are nice and a touch different.
At the Somme Bay entrance the beach is more muddy and more nature diversity to be seen. Birds, but also seals are daily to see if you watch carefully. The tide is large, so at low tide a mile or more Wide beach appears which is excellent to walk.
Due to the size it is never crowded and always enjoyable!Written 3 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Must say that the "voies vertes" maps= biking tracks separated from the road are not correct. Part of them are still on the Route Departementale, on the road itself whilst cars are passing just near you at probably 90 kms/hr. That was not communicated in the Tourist office.Written 11 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EMBE762Maastricht, The Netherlands567 contributionsThis is a nice fishermen church, since many years..
Old ship models and modern pictures of ships at the walls, fish nets etc as decoration all over!
It’s worth the look and to burn a candle for whatever you wish.Written 3 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Went from St Valery to Le Crotoy and back, about 1 hour each way. Some good views of the bay on the trip and good value.Written 18 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cate HLondon, UK121 contributionsGreat selection of cheeses served up by the friendly owner. Chutneys, crackers and wine also available. Try the truffle butter, it’s delicious.Written 13 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
