- BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,634 contributionsThis is one of very few fine white sand beaches in Puglia region. It's located some 15 min drive south from beautiful Gallipoli. Parking is a problem in peak August season when we visited and it's paying.
Beach is really nice, sea very clean and you can choose between paying sunbeds and umbrellas by beach bars of free spaces along the beach.Written 8 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoanneCork, Ireland1 contributionWe went from Gallipoli by taxi to this beach and it cost us €50 return. The cost for 2 beds with umbrella was €40. We then went to the beach bar which had a very poor sel election of food. Long necks beers cost €5. As the afternoon went on the music got louder. It’s as though they were hoping to attract a younger audience.Written 27 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, Serbia19,634 contributionsTown beaches are usually not that nice, but this one in Gallipoli was perfect for us. It's set at the end of the island's old town, beneath the city walls.
It's a free public beach with no sunbeds to rent. Water was crystal clear and calm as it's set in a small bay.
It was a great spot to cool down after exploring the cute town of Gallipoli.
TIP: don't overlook the magnificent same name Church (Saint Mary of Purity) which is just above the beach (modest facade, amazing interior).Written 8 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A bit outside Gallipoli, dan't worry if you can't find a parking spot right outside, large parking available around the corner!Written 18 September 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - exiledblueRovellasca, Italy566 contributionsWe went on a tuesday and bought a family ticket. 36 euro for 2 adults and a 6 year old. Strange tge price is tge same but many things she cannot go on although atother parks she could. Whilst limited food was reasonably priced if you want to snack. 2 or 3 rides were closed and some things closed intermittently during the day particularly around lunch.Written 2 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Colin CDerby, UK25 contributionsBeautiful location but very busy in August. Parking available for 5 Euros just 100m from the beach. - SunriseSkiSingapore1,080 contributionsDon‘t miss when in Gallipoli. A few steps underground you reach a place where for many years people performed a difficult task to extract olive oil for burning under really difficult and unhealthy conditions that today would be unimaginable. Best way to sit there and listen to audio description while looking around and imagining how it really was. A nice piece of history.Written 12 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BruceGreater London, UK39 contributionsNice beach club, recommended by our hotel and a free shuttle there and back from the hotel.
Very reasonably priced - both for the loungers and particularly the drinks. Obviously comparing the drinks prices to the UK however we were pleasantly surprised at the prices. Local beer (Raffo) was €4, aperol spritz €6, half bottle of Prosecco €11.
We ate lunch (delivered to our sun loungers with a small table) and the menu is good, food simple but tasty.
Beach is lovely - soft golden sand, no stones, shallow calm warm waters for about 50-100 metres out.
Total spend for around 4.5hrs there was less than €100 and we didn’t hold back on the drinks!
Well worth a visit and only 10 mins by vehicle from Gallipoli port.Written 24 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Luckily, they had availability and I’m so happy they did. It was cheaper and the beach we had gone to the day before. We liked it so much, we came back twice. The beach was also better than the other place we have gone too, less rocks. For 2 umbrellas and 3 chairs it was 40 euros. I’m not sure how it compares, but the other beach was 42 euros and it was not near water. The food we had was good and the mojitos were tasty.
The best part, Marco, his mom, and the staff are very welcoming and the hospitality was awesome. They treat you like they’ve known you forever. I would definitely go back when we visit again. I recommend Crystal Beach to everyone. The beach is very nice and the hospitality is great.Written 18 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are a number of paid beach areas, but always mingled with free areas. The beach is clean and the water is great.Written 28 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
