Awesome zoo. Visited in March. Beautiful spring trees and flowers adorn every corner. Elephants out. Visit Hippos first thing in the morning as water will be cleaner. 😬 Fed giraffes. Rode on train. Our large family stayed at Graduate hotel and walked to zoo. We visited 5 hours in the zoo.

I don’t think that Great American gets enough credit for its unique qualities that really tie it to the city and region. From the smokestacks to the riverboat in center field, you know you are in Cincinnati when you enter this park. Even the light poles that tie it back to Crowley Field.

Beyond that though, the park is lacking. I had to walk forever to find a hot dog, which was flavorless. My seats this time were great, but this is the first time in approximately 10 visits that I liked the seats and I have been all over the park. They pushed the 50/50 raffle hard, but saw no other vendors during the 7 innings we stayed.

Pluses include, the sound system, which is very good and the location, which allows easy drop off by Lyft/Uber and has lots of restaurants in easy walking distance for after the game. The employees in both the food stand and souvenir shop were great. Though I did not visit this time, I’ve been to the Reds Hall of Fame and is very good. The minuses include the views from most of the seats, the poor food quality, and the general experience which is not as exciting as most ball parks I’ve been to. The race between the Mr. Reds is an obvious rip off of the Sausage Race in Milwaukee, the music choices and between inning games etc. seemed to fall flat.

Take the free Rotunda Tour! The architecture is beautiful and the behind the scenes original restored rooms were incredible. Diane, our docent, was delightful and very knowledgeable. We learned new things about the history of Cincinnati and Union Terminal. Thank you Diane!

The Cincinnati Art Museum has a comprehensive collection, specializing in Ohio art and pottery. There are some great additions with artists with national or international reputations like Kehinde Wiley, Jacob Lawrence, Maxfield Prrish, and Oskar Kokoschka. There were two special exhibits as well. Good collection and worth visiting along with the nearby Taft Museum.

This is a very fun museum and they have interesting displays and all kinds of signage types.
I did both the audio tour and the tour with Alex. He put's on his "announcer" voice and takes us through the museum offering educational tidbits throughout.
Definitely an interesting stop for someone wanting to know more about this type of history and how it advanced.
Price not too steep, free onsite parking

large old cemetery and botanical garden. Great place for winter walk on beautiful day. Lots of mature trees and plants and a few lakes. I didn't stay long but enjoyed walking around and saw a few birds. The swans were so graceful and lovely to watch. the stone bridges would be good for pictures.

I like walking across bridges, especially ones that lead from one state to another. So this one was fun even if it is a rather short walk (10 min if strolling?). The views of Covington and Cincinnati are lovely from each side.
This bridge doesnt indicate when you cross the state line like the Purple People Bridge, but it does have spots on the walk where you can use a QR code and hear some history about the bridge and its construction.

It’s still early March and sighs of spring are ever slowly starting. This is one of our favorite times to visit the Krohn Conservatory to see the beautiful flowers in the spring show especially after a long dreary winter. It’s not especially large as you can see everything in an hour or less. Still it leaves you feeling elated about the coming warmer seasons to come. Granted prices have risen a bit after Covid but is still reasonable for those who enjoy a calming setting filled with flowers and plants.

This museum is intensely packed with information. I made an effort to visit all of the exhibits and read most of the information presented. Didn't have time to watch any of the films in the two different theatres.
I really enjoyed the modern perspective and application of slavery as it still exists today in various forms.
You could easily spend 3 hours on just the 3rd floor, the other floors move quicker and depending on interest, can be done in a hour to 1.5hours.
There was an interactive exhibit on bias. However, I personally believe the activity itself created bias. But it was interesting either way.

I tried to park on the street in front of the entrance, but the time limit (not posted) was 2 hours, so then had to find a parking garage in order to finish the museum, which was frustrating. Cincy needs to get their street parking policy clear.

The Findlay Market is downtown, over the Rhein area where a man can find local producers' goods. Around the market, there are plenty of small shops, places to eat, and cafes. The collector - free of charge tram line passes by which gives an excellent connection to the marketplace with the other parts of the downtown. Also, just next to the Findlay Market, there are a few historical breweries to visit.
On Mondays, the market is closed. The busiest days are the weekend ones when it might get crowded.

Our daughter loved everything from the playground and flying pig, to the swings and the view. Out of everything we did in our short time in Cincy, she loved the family swings alongside the river.

Just spend a couple hours here. Kid, dog and bike friend. One of if not the most beautiful river walk I’ve been to.
