My family and I went up Diamond head to see the sunrise. It was truly AMAZING! They hiked it quickly but I am a little older and out of shape, but I made it! Take the hike!

I decided last minute to go have a look around Pearl Harbour on my last day in Hawaii. So glad I did. It was very interesting and I felt I learnt a lot more about this sad day in history. I just caught the local bus (took about an hour). Once there you can look around a free museum and get the free shuttle to Ford Island to see the Missouri. You need to buy tickets to go on board the Missouri, into the aviation museum and out to the Arizona Memorial.

We took the self-guided audio tour. It only took us abut an hour or so but we learned a lot about Hawaii’s history. The museum staff help guide you from room to room and were available and very willing to answer any questions. Highly recommend this as a nice cultural break from the noise of the beaches in Honolulu/Waikiki.

The path is paved with asphalt and about 9' wide from the parking area to the observation platforms at the top. There are several information boards on the path. Rest areas are along the path. No shade, no water, no services. Great views of the ocean, surrounding area and the lighthouse.

We did not get to take the boat to the Memorial. We received an email on the first day on our trip that it had been cancelled due to repairs. We still toured the grounds and museums, but wish I could have seen the monument up close.

Manoa Falls was beautiful!! About a 30 min hike uphill. Once you reach the waterfall be careful. The waterfall area is rocky to get down to and you are really not supposed to go down into the waterfall area due to possible falling rocks. Waterfall was beautiful…the trail was also beautiful! Definitely a must do!

Went to koko today via bus ! It’s a pretty long walk from the bus stop so be prepared with water hat sunnies and sunscreen ! No shops on the way ! Bus number 23 from waikiki (No bus 22 since Covid)/ it’s a $3 each way no more transfer option so take correct money ! When you alight the bus close to Koko it’s about 1km walk you will see the local high school (Kaser ) keep walking and you take a left and ask a local when you get close but you will find it heh heh Good luck ! We loved it
Remember the hike is arduous so take plenty of stops and wear decent shoes , since Covid the railway sleepers have been replaced so it’s a lot safer than previous years !!!

We love the beach, water temperature, crowd and the services there. This beach is crowded and the sand is not as refined at the Gold Coast Australia. But the water temperature is divine and lifeguard alertness is second to none (I was rescued) . A must visit site .

We toured the Battleship in complete amazement! We were so intrigued by it all, we lost track of time. The history of the entire ship was very interesting. Make the time to visit this Battle Ship. You wont be disappointed.

Definitely worthwhile for learning about Hawaii. Offers in-depth understanding of the Polynesian people who settled here over 1,000 years ago, and describes the transformation of life on the islands down to the present day. Located not far from downtown.

We went planning on eating lunch there after a bit of research, I did not see bad reviews, but don't depend on the restaurant, not many menu items were available, my burger was very disappointing, bottled beer was very pricey.
