The path is mostly paved with some uneven, rocky sections. There are a few steep spots, including a series of stairs and a tunnel, but overall, it’s considered moderate in difficulty. The reward at the top is breathtaking. You’ll get a sweeping view of Honolulu, the Pacific Ocean, and the surrounding coastline.

Beautiful place. Visited during a rainy day, good to have been able to buy shoes suited for mud and a poncho in the shop before the trail. Hike was lovely despite the pouring rain. Sun came up just when I got back down :-)

54 year old moderately fit female solo hiker. It took me 40 minutes to go up, taking it slow paced and many breaks to take pics and sips of water. It is definitely a good idea to go early. I got there at 8 on a Saturday and parking was easy. The coolness of early morning definitely helps. I found the way down to be much harder than going up. At the top the steepness of the steps was a bit scary for me going down, so I really took my time. It took me as long to get down as it did to go up. About halfway it is much less steep, so I could go faster like regular steps. The views at the top are absolutely worth it! So glad I did it!

This was easier than I anticipated. It is all uphill, but there are plenty of places to stop and catch your breath if needed. The views are worth it! We were up and back down in an hour and a half without feeling hurried in any way.

Be prepared to pay $7 to park and then wait for a parking spot to open up. The hike to the falls is mainly uphill and very rocky (round trip is about two miles). There is beautiful foliage the whole way. There’s a viewing area of the falls at the end of the trail. If you choose not to obey the signs, you can go down and swim in the catch pool.

This trail is no hard-expect mud everywhere, which makes it feel like a challenging hike. But it's so worth it when you reach the 100-foot waterfall at the end.
The whole hike is packed with cool photo spots: a bamboo forest, mountain views, smaller falls, and a few river crossings. Just take it slow, especially with how slippery everything is. The pool at the waterfall isn't huge, so it can get crowded, but luckily a big group was leaving when we arrived, so we had space to take turns snapping photos.
Overall, a fun adventure and some stunning sights along the way!

My wife and I did the Ka'au Crater 3 waterfall hike. Though we did not hike around the crater. NOTE: The hike is not a beginner hike. Though my wife and I are not avid hikers we do hikes here and there. This hike can be dangerous and if not careful you can get seriously hurt, get lost, there has been deaths here if not careful you may need to be rescued. We recommend if you do this hike DO NOT attempt to do this hike in the rain, not after a few days of rain or after a heavy rain the day before your hike. Not trying to worry anyone but we want to be real for all to know it can be dangerous. We recommend downloading All trails app it uses satellite and once you lose cell service the app still shows your location and the trail to follow. There are steep inclines, wet clay which is slippery at times your walking on 12 to 18 inched of trail with drop offs on one side and at times in both sides. You will be climbing rocks, using many ropes up the falls and rappelling down using a rope. As everything you do, do with caution and be safe. If at any time you feel its to dangerous do not continue because the hike does become harder and more strenuous as you go. It took us a total of 8 hours to complete this hike with about 45 min of lunch and breaks. We did have to backtrack a few times due to the trail being overgrown, not very visible and the markers are not very clear. Overall it was a challenging hike but well worth it. Very beautiful and a great challenge for us. We recommend this hike just make sure you know your limitations and be safe.

The rooms (we did 3 rooms over 3 days) were fun and challenging. Our group has done over 30 escape rooms and these were some of the more creative rooms we had experienced. We really enjoyed Armory Ambush. The hosts for the rooms were also super helpful when we needed it. Because this is an independent escape room, and not part of a franchise, the concepts and games were unique and had local elements embedded in them. Just go already! :)

We had two people in our group who hadn’t tried an escape room before but our host explained the process well. We all had lots of fun. The escape room itself had some high-tech features that kept us highly entertained. We escaped!

Great staff, were really helpful and knowledgeable. Went with my dad and we had a great time shooting some targets with the medium bundle they do at the range. Had some great fun would definitely go back!

We did the Waikiki Sunset Cruise and had a blast. The crew (especially Ryan and the captain) were awesome and the DJ played great music!
