- Rhonda PSydney, Australia2 contributionsI ended up NOT going to that golf course as it was an all inclusive package which I did not need.
Through the hotel concierge I booked 18 holes at ALA WAI golf course which is public.. You can hire clubs, cart and probably a buggy but I just hired clubs. The deal gives you 2x3 golf balls included.
It is a long course- took 4.5 hours- I played with 3 other people.
It's a 30 minute walk from the OUTRIGGER WAIKIKI.
Windy but very pleasantWritten 25 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The golf game was only going to be $43. Cancelled the game. Ridiculous rental hire for 9 holes of golf.Written 21 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GolfingHW808Waipahu, HI3 contributionsThis is a nice full 18-hole course, challenging layouts and wind, i just wish the fairways and tee boxes were better maintained, I understand the dryness since this is late summer, but for the price of green fees it should be in a lot better condition. Driving mats for tee box is just a little too ghetto for “Hawaii Kai”. Restaurant and Pro Shop were more than acceptable. Did not play on the Executive course (par 3s), so can’t speak to that side.Written 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joannie H1 contributionWe hurriedly purchased a gift card last night from Hawaii Tee Times website without reading the fine print (actually bold, red print) that this was not for local residents. We received a text an hour later thanking us for the purchase and they questioned if we bought it for a "local HI resident or for a visitor from the mainland coming to Hawaii". Needless to say, we thought we lost our money because we couldn't use the gift card. But...we received the most wonderful text this morning that the gift card was disabled and our money was refunded. Such a class act of Hawaii Tee Times!!! We were so surprised and very appreciative of the unexpected refund. We will definitely recommend Hawaii Tee Times to our mainland visitors!Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
