The staff pretty much took care of all the setup and clean up! Giving us actual time to enjoy the party! - AliF32 contributionsThe rooms (we did 3 rooms over 3 days) were fun and challenging. Our group has done over 30 escape rooms and these were some of the more creative rooms we had experienced. We really enjoyed Armory Ambush. The hosts for the rooms were also super helpful when we needed it. Because this is an independent escape room, and not part of a franchise, the concepts and games were unique and had local elements embedded in them. It's fortunate to have these courts located in the Ala Moana Park, right in the heart of Waikiki. There are 10 free courts. Parking is also free. Because of its location and "free", these courts are often crowded. You should come early around 6-6:30 am to beat the heat and get the court. These courts are well maintained and clean. They let you choose your own music and can record yourselves in the room with a little phone stand. Took us about thirty minutes, wish it lasted a little longer with more items to smash. The staff was really nice and accommodating, and the event space itself was really cool. I liked the vibe as soon as I walked in. The escape room itself had some high-tech features that kept us highly entertained. We have attended his comedy show everytime we are lucky to travel to Honolulu and the Hale Koa Hotel. His show provides a fun experience at the Warrior's Lounge and is not to be missed. There are 4 swings pretty low to the ground; one of which was a baby swing. Our grandson had fun in that and his toddler sisters had fun pushing him. They used some of the climbing things as well but got bored with the small playground. It’s in the shade which was nice. - Joe MDetroit, MI1,444 contributionsJust stayed here for a business trip. Loved the view and the restaurants. The people here are so nice. Great service. The pool is small so get there early. The only issue I had with the place is the beach chairs. You have to pay for beach chairs via another company or something. I never got it. We had to pay a big resort fee but it did not include a place to sit at the beach. Really. Was not happy with that. The hotel also needs a few upgrades, but over all I liked the place. The chairs were very comfortable and reclined with a table and soft drink holder. They have a pretty good food menu and serve beer as well. - smith m9 contributionsTotally nervous going in, but this place has good safety measures and is well run and coordinated. Price aside (which was totally OTT), there is a good range of options / packages to choose from so you can find something to fit.
If you are after a one off experience with a gun / rifle this is worth while.
Staff are professional, telling you what to do and how each gun works and what to look out for.
All guns are rigged to a system that keeps them pointing forward to the target, which is great. There is sound proofing and all shooters have ear muffs. When guns are not being operated they are locked up.
