- RonTampa, FL10 contributionsI was told I needed to do a Luau when in Hawaii so I booked with Paradise Cove on my day of arrival. I missed the bus there so I ubered there and took the bus back. The service was spectacular from the moment I arrived to making sure I got on the right bus back. I booked the deluxe package so I had table service. The food was very good and with table service I didn’t need to go to the buffet line. The ambiance was amazing. Amazing views and lots of activities to do. I went in July with perfect weather. The Luau show was nothing but spectacular. The food buffet was top notch and included some local cuisine (including poi and above ground roasted kalua pork), salads, roasted prime rib, hula chicken, island catch, and tasty desserts. We were greeted with a real orchid lei and we could choose to have either an alcoholic drink or a non-alcoholic drink to start. Our server was very attentive. The Marriott is a nice, handy location, even though this luau is not on a beach. Took us to the best scenic spots and gave us enough time to take it all in and of course take our pictures to keep forever! We had lunch where all the food trucks were! Didn’t even expect that the food truck that was on my “must list” (Da bald guys featured on Netflix is a must) was there! What a treat! The van was clean and doesn’t have any smell (I have to mention that because our car rental smells awful and I thought that part was important). Shout out to my tour buddies Jade and Jeremy and the rest I forgot to ask for their names my bad. I highly recommend this trip definitely worth it.Review of: Oahu Island Experience feat. The reason for not giving the 5th star is that we paid extra for the upper deck seating but because the boat wasn’t full they let everyone come up. Also the Luau show is facing the opposite direction than the ocean which is bizarre.
Food was absolutely delicious. Show was great and fire show at the end was amazing.
You have to go to each hut to get your food which was kind of rushed. They kept telling you vendors closing at 630 so it felt very rushed. They should work on a more relaxing way to get you your food. Maybe serving it and you exchange a food ticket.

I would highly recommend this tour to visitors. We love going on food walking tours in new towns and enjoy riding bikes. This was a perfect combination of both.
