OHHHH these are so tasty. You will even receive a sample just to entice you to buy some for everyone you know. Members of our family even call these little gems the sacred cookies. Picked up the cookie wallet for mothers day gifts this year and if you are staying at the HHV you can receive two free cookies the the Grand Experience Card. But wait you can also earn free cookies with the stamp card. Buy the big chest and divide them out for gifts.

A favorite souvenir for family and friends. This visit around, I found holiday additions that were too cute to pass up on. There were Valentine’s boxes and year of the tiger in anticipation of this upcoming lunar new year festivities. The salesperson told us only 3 stores on the island carried the year of the tiger box sets.

A must stop for me every time I am on Oahu. Loads of places to choose what you like and affordable. There was live music on Saturday. Note the location is the lower level at Ala Moana Shopping Center.

We loved indulging in a few samples while picking out the cookies we wanted. They traveled well and we were totally satisfied. We did the "bulk" cookie boxes and picked all of our own flavors based on sampling. Friendly staff and a nice store.

I'm only sorry we didn't find this spot sooner on our trip. We lucked into finding it walking back to our hotel after a dinner down the street. When we said we had just had dinner the gal behind the counter suggested the Childs size. We both kinda laughed a little but took her recommendation. Wow am I glad we did. They were huge and we couldn't believe it for the price. Both of us couldn't even finish the kids size. They had a ton of delicious fresh flavors. We made sure to come back the next time super hungry so we could be sure to enjoy them to their fullest.

There are a 'baker's dozen' of these shops salt & peppered throughout Honolulu, and if I tell the truth, I stopped into every one in my path... and then, intentionally re-visited on the way back to the Surfjack Hotel! I can't recall shelling out a buck a cookie ever, but those cookies with the little drop of jam, gooey-like toppings in the centres!? Yep. I'll take a box-full, please.

Visited the Aiea store one morning and fell in love. So many beautiful fabric types and prints! I was looking for a Hawaiian Christmas print as the backing for my grandbaby’s stocking I had cross-stitched. Found the perfect one and it was so reasonably priced, I bought extra to make some things for the other 4 grandkids! The store is not air conditioned so I’m glad I was there early. It was nice to have a restroom since I spent such a long time browsing (and I didn’t have to ask for a key!) Staff was helpful but not pushy. Can’t wait to go back and get some outdoor fabric for the patio chair cushions!

Waikiki Shopping Plaza is located on Kalakaua Avenue, the premier retail corridor of Honolulu. We walked through this shopping plaza several times as it is located very close to the Polynesian Residence where were staying. The shopping plaza is definitely targeted to the tourist realm. The stores are upper class and therefore highly priced. This 6-level shopping mall is a mix of businesses - travel services, restaurants, clothing, jewelry, and other retail.

If you are looking for a Japanese twist to Hawaiian t-shirts, this is the place to go. They also have other clothing.

Dont think this is the same place but it is the same company. We went to the one in the Ala Moana center and they definetly have a much better selection of liquor and wine than any other store we saw during our trip. Was even able to get a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel with a Tamura's Hawaii tag on it.

here are some good vendors, but they mostly all sell the same things. However, most of the prices are flexible and there are some cool touristy items. Fun to walk through, but would not recommend shopping here.

This store is conveniently located in the Sheraton lobby and offers a great selection of ukulele's. But the real standout is the free ukulele lesson that my wife and I participated. Neither of us have ever played a strong instrument previously and after on 30 minutes we understood how to hold it, tune it, strum it and play two very simple songs.

The instructor was patient and informative and I highly recommend a visit!

Quirky little Christmas store. Has a lot of different ornaments that you can have up to 7 names put on which is great for large families. They put the names on them however you need to leave it with them for a day to have it done so plan ahead on coming back. They’re busy so lines can be long. If you’re into ornaments it’s worth the walk plus it’s conveniently on Waikiki beach front.

My wife found this factory tour and we decided to give it a go. Having been consumers of their products we thought it would be a interesting to see how it was made.

We had no idea until we arrived that we were going to get to make our own box of chocolates. Very cool!

When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and almost a familiarity like we were old friends. The tour was very informative and interesting. I learned more about the process than I thought possible.

The family’s passion for what they do, concern for the future and knowledge was amazing. How often do you get a tour of a factory from the company president?

Thank you all! We had a blast and will return.
