If you go to Milan, this is a must see if you love cutting edge art, design, marketing styles and architecture. Don't be confused with previous reviews that discuss food and drinks--those are Compari bars and restaurants which are located near the Duomo, definitely not at this location! Regardless whether or not you care for the drink, do take a guided tour of this place. We checked their website and called to verify the times for the free English tours. I attempted to submit the link for this information, but the Tripadvisor censors refused to allow it. So if you go to the Campari website, remember to click "International" to find the English website, then on "Galleria Campai". The tour is about an hour long and is easy to reach on the metro, but does not seem to get many visitors. We were the only ones on our tour. The art gallery is filled with multi-media works from world famous artists, mostly Italian, all marketing the Campari product line. One of my favorite surprises was a video commercial with the actual cast of the movie, Casablanca, with Rick (Bogart himself!) at the bar, drinking his glass of Campari. They also have displays on the science of colors (their drink is bright red), the reasons for the type of bottle used and the science of smells! Do take the time to check out their website and take the actual tour--it really is very well done! The building complex is also impressive, with its unique design. You will not see any of the production of the product, and there is no tasting room or store so you will need to go elsewhere to taste it. This is probably best, since it is quite the acquired taste.

Villa Torretta is a truly amazing hotel with an equally amazing staff. We stayed here on our final night in Italy, after Venice/Como/Mediterranean, and it was just supposed to be a laid back and quiet night at a unique property outside the city center before leaving early the next day for the airport. Little did we know a) how wonderful the accommodations would be and b) how well we would be treated by the attentive and thoughtful folks working there. A very special mention goes out to Andrea and Tony, who combined the utmost professionalism with the utmost kindness. They were both fantastic. Another special mention goes out to the chefs! We ate really well over the 10 days we spent in Italy, but – as difficult as this may be to believe – we did not have a better meal than our dinner at Villa Torretta. Breakfast the next morning was tasty also, but the dinner… incredible. We were there for les than 24 hours but the stay in this hotel was a highlight of our trip. Go stay here, you will not regret it.

I went to this shopping center because it was in front of my hotel. It's a fairly small shopping center with some shops and restaurants...nothing special.

Until 4/5 years ago Carro Ponte was a wonderful place to see concerts or just to come to in the evening for a pizza with friends and browse around the funky stalls selling ethnic jewellery, cloths and much more.
Now it is only possible to do the above if you are going to a concert.
This means that if you want to go there for a nice evening with friends and something to nibble not only do you have to pay for the food but also buy a ticket for a concert you couldn’t give a tinkers cuss about.
Very disappointed and hope the previous organisation comes back to manage the place !

We visited this rink for the annual Spring Cup held in February. It's pretty much like rinks in the United States. This one has plenty of seating though the parking lot seemed small. We arrived by subway so we didn't have to figure out parking.

The woman at the ticket window didn't speak English and had trouble understanding how many tickets we needed. A kind person behind us helped us.

The bathrooms looked pretty much like rink bathrooms I've seen everywhere else. After a few hours into a competition they're messy and not cleaned. The women's restroom was on a timer for the lights so it's good either to be quick or have someone to turn it back on for you.

There was no food available inside but outside on the side of the building there is a "bar" which sells food. It's small and was crowded when we were there. While I wasn't excited by any of the offerings they did have an assortment of sandwiches (paninis). Outside across the parking lot there were two food trucks that showed up for this competition. They both offered basically the same thing--hamburgers, hotdogs, sausages and some other sandwiches. I thought it was funny that rink food doesn't seem to change much no matter where you are. I ended up buying my child a hotdog which she thought was good. They cooked it when we ordered. We took it back inside. There didn't seem to be any prohibition on taking food into the rink as some rinks do in the United States for competitions.

It's a quick walk from the subway. Once you reach street level you will see the building in front of you. You walk pass a stop for several busses.

It wasn't particularly cold inside so there was no need for a blanket when we sat in the stands.

Just a good nice mall. Not a very good or the best. Just good. Would benefit from a bit of TLC and updating. But overall a good shopping mall.

this monument isn't impressive, it isn't artistically special, but it's done in a very well made style, it transmit you what the city went through and it does it properly.
