I first/last visited here ten years ago and I can't tell if it's changed but, as it was fabulous then, so it is now. I used my Seattle CityPASS to enter and joined the throngs late on a Friday afternoon wandering through the eight galleries, glasshouse and outside int the gardens, marvelling at how all of that glass came to be and then suspended above and gathered around us.
He's a unique talent and I've seen his work in countless hotels and museums all over the country.
Coming here, to his passion project in his home state, is well worth it. I combined the visit with the Space Needle which looms overhead.
    A definite Seattle Must Do!

Pike Place Fish Market is an ideal place to get some fresh fish. There is plenty to choose from. It's a lot of fun wandering around and enjoying the spectacle. Some of the cooked fish is really good but some may not be as good, so care is needed when choosing!

This is a nice shopping mall with a choice of established brands as well as some local brands. There are some good restaurants also located in the vicinity of the mall. The only negative thing is the parking. Even at 11 AM in the morning, virtually the entire parking lot was full

Enjoyed a Sunday morning visit to the market. Was impressed by the variety of products and the food booths, one of the oldest and largest markets in Seattle.

Bit of a novelty and a bit out of town but still walkable. Interesting to see all the workings of coffee roasting with the huge vats and pipes. Lots of Merchandise, most at silly prices, obviously coffee for sale, wet and dry, also pastries. Some seating , but seemed not enough for the size of the place. Nothing else to do around it, so it is a special trip really.

Westfield Southcenter Mall is one of the few large malls of this size, still operating. This is a great mall, with every major department store like Macy’s, JCPenney’s and Sears. The mall has an enormous food court and three levels within the mall, which includes an AMC Theater. If you’re looking for anything, this mall will have it; also, this is a great place to visit on a rainy day in Washington.

When I was a kid growing up in Seattle I used to take the bus downtown just to go to the store. It had the most interesting things I thought as a kid. it's always been touristy but they have a lot of interesting curios that aren't actually for sale. Sylvester The Mummy was always my favorite and is the main draw for this tourist attraction. it's worth a trip down the hill from The Pike Place Market which is a must do if you're in Seattle. Especially on a sunny day. It's a 15 minute walk or a sharp cab ride from The Pike Place Market. You can start your walk along the Waterfront Northbound from here and see all kinds of of cool stuff

Visited and shopped here twice during our stay in Seattle. Mostly high end shops but you can get a bargain. Toilets and restaurant on the fourth floor, toilets were very clean.

This 4 or 5 story shopping center/mall was clean but quiet on this Tuesday evening. The number of floors depends on how one counts the basement and a topmost section that appears to connect to a movie theatre. A wide variety of shops featured, jewelry, luggage, clothing and more. There were several restaurants of various types. There were several long tables where people could create their own laptop work station. The escalators were in good order. The high atrium design was accentuated by today's bright sun light. Several large murals were featured. Overall it had a pleasant but slightly haunted atmosphere.

Nordstrom rack consists of many brand names that offer shoes, clothes, and accessories. All are cheap and cute clothes , clothes can be found for all ages for teenagers to elders. Always good finds here. Only issue was dressing room. There was many dressing rooms , but left to be operated by customers, each room had clothes left form previous users.

This may well be the most exceptional gallery I've been to in a while. Of all the indigenous galleries in Seattle that I've visited, this one had a combination of the biggest collection and the most interesting and thoughtful art. The artwork is stunning, and I cannot stress enough how worth a walk this place is, no matter where you manage to find parking.

The art changes frequently as the public buy the eclectic pieces. I love to see the walls change as new art work comes in.

It was nearly the end of our visit to Pike Place Market, and I wanted to buy some "Rainier" cherries to take back to our hotel room for snacking. A saleslady at Saragraphics T-shirt booth recommended Sosio's for the best cherries. We had no trouble finding "Sosio's" and after a sample, we bought a pound for $10. The price was high, but the cherries were excellent.
