This is a great museum. We spent a full afternoon there. The docents are very friendly and are a wealth of information. Lots to see for both flight and history fans.

We took another couple to Pikes Market and it didn't disappoint. We went during flower day and they had many different booths, food and other kiosks. We had a great lunch and saw some amazing things. The only thing i would avoid is the "Gum" wall, which is pretty gross....

Crossed to Whidbey Island from Mukilteo. Very efficient ticketing booths and loading. 20 minute ride was smooth.

It can be challenging to find a parking spot but you get a spectacular city view from this small park. Recommend a stop there for some picture taking.

We went up to the observatory on a Saturday afternoon. No line to wait in and not many people at the observation deck. This made the experience feel much less frantic than our visit to the Space Needle the day before. We didn't buy the extras, just the basic ticket. It was nice to be able to spend time taking in the view without having to jostle between people taking selfies as was the case with the Needle. We also sat and had a drink from the bar and sat and watched the view. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Route bikes into the locks area and spent some time watching their operation. Locks were not to busy and keepers were able to spend some time chatting.

Great zoo to visit. Kids loved it. As soon as we got in we saw animals right away. We got tickets as part of the Seattle city pass so it was a great deal. Took us about 3 hours to get through most of the park. I would definitely visit again.

Tour of TMobile Baseball Stadium - We were looking for a wet day activity, deciding on a tour of the Seattle Mariners Baseball Stadium. These are offered when the Mariners are out of town. The price was $15 per adult - well worth the money. We had a great guide (Mary), who got into the Mariners years ago watching the games with her husband. Mary gave us a great tour, offering history on Seattle, discussion of the Kingdome and building facts on this field. We had time to enjoy the baseball chandelier - 1000 resin bats! We had great views of the Sound and city. We saw the field from up high and down to the field and visitor's dugout. We went into the fancy suites, seeing wonderful photos of players old and new. We visited the Press Conference room where I sat in the chair where Ken Griffey Jnr recently sat. Did you know it costs $33 to either open or close the roof of the stadium? There were many facts and interesting pieces of information. Do the tour. You will be glad you did. And thank you Mary.

See the city from a bird's eye view as long as it's not rainy or foggy. Step on the rotating floor for a great experience.

The observatory view is an incredible place to view the city with a great appetizer and drink. The place is expensive but worth at least once to visit.

Second time visiting this market. Loved watching the guys toss the fish to each other. Got samples of the smoked salmon and bought some to bring back home to Texas. So good. Got the garlic and pepper one. Cannot wait to share with friends.

We stopped at Alchi beach to watch sunset and grab a bite at Duke's seafood. We had no issues with parking. There is a nice paved path for biking, running, walking and skate boarding. It was a beautiful beach and view. Lots of shops/restaurants across the street. Would definitely recommend!
