We were so close to Bosnia, being in Split, we decided it was worth the trip to go see Mostar. While it’s about a three hour drive, it’s very interesting to see the countryside on the way. Our driver, John, was very fun and friendly. Our guide in Mostar provided great information on the history and culture of the area, especially about the restoration efforts after the war. The wine tasting was brief, but the wines very good! We couldn’t go to “the hill” in Medjugorje because it had rained and it was muddy and slick.

This private tour to Bosnia was the best tour we've ever taken. Our guide was incredibly flexible with the itinerary, allowing us to explore the places we were most interested in for as long as we wanted. He shared personal stories from his life in the former Yugoslavia and his experiences during the war with Serbia, giving us a deeper understanding of the region's history. He also helped us grasp the significance of Islam in contrast to Catholicism and facilitated authentic experiences in Mostar. We can't thank him enough for everything we experienced on this tour. We highly recommend it.

Such a beautiful country Bosnia is, the people and food great aswell. Only gripe I had with it is the timings for locations. It felt like we had to rush alittle on the fort as we only were allocated 30 mins. Rest were perfect for a tour tbh.

The trip took us to 3 different locations in Herzegovina. Kravice falls, Mostar, and pocitelj. Each place was very interesting in its own way. The falls were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views, whilst Pocitelj was very historical and finally, Mostar was perfect for cheap, nice lunch and sightseeing! IGOR, our driver, was very kind and informative and helped us pick a lovely place for lunch. The only downside of the trip is we wish we had more time at Kravice falls! Apart from that it was a great day trip!

    Highly recommend,
Pick up was on time, exactly where they said they would be, tour guide speaks good English (hannah) aswell as spainsh,

Stopped off in medugorje, were the bus travelled onto mostar, spend 5hours in medugorje, climbed apparition hill (allow 1hours minimum) wear climbing shoes, or old runners. Will get very mucky and dirty.
Rocks are very sharp, hill very steep
    (Risk of Injury) climb carefully..
Leaves 2-3 hours of site seeing and dinner

(taxi collect us from train station in medugorje took us straight back to tour bus). 15min journey.

    Would recommend this...

We booked the transfer to give us more time visiting Medjugorje then the bus tours offer, and we were not disappointed. Our driver Oliver was very friendly and accommodating, he dropped us at the key points and picked us up when we were ready. The vehicle was comfortable and had air conditioning, and crossing the border was much faster then on a bus tour. Overall this was was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to tailor the day to suit them.

We had a wonderful day with Thomas as our driver. Traveling with my family I felt safe and made our day easy. We made it to church at St James for 10am mass in English. Climbed apparition hill- what a moment. Thomas recommended a good restaurant that was also affordable and delicious. He was very patient as we finished our day. Thank you Thomas. God bless,

Ante was a great guide and an excellent driver. He was very friendly, kind and also very knowledgeable about the areas we visited.

First we went to Medjugorje, then Mostar, then we went to his family's farm, where we ate the best food we had on our entire trip. The food was delicious and was prepared by his mother. She even gave us extra cake to take away, which was very kind of her.

Then we visited the Kravice waterfalls. All the destinations were beautiful and we had free time in all of them.

On the way back to Split, Ante surprised us by stopping and we all got out of the car so he could show us a great view of Omiš.

My wife and I had the privilege to have Salem as our guide. He told us a lot of the history and background of the war in 1990s and his first-hand experience in protecting his country and family. The itineary is wisely designed and we saw many places with nice view and rich history, and most imprtant, saved a lot of trouble for the transport from Split to Sarajevo and allowed me to stay a night at Mostar. I am also very grateful for all colleagues of Funky tour from the first day I sent an email to enquire, who are exceptionally helpful!

We have traveled extensively and have participated in other "farm visits", home meals, etc., but this one with Ante was THE BEST! We stopped at this lovely home on our trip from Mostar, returning to Split. Ante's Mother prepared the food (absolutely delicious!) and brought another whole facet of interest as she told us stories of the old family pieces that decorated the lovely dining area. All the food was incredible. We previously had the traditional Croatian Peka on an earlier Croatia trip, but this one was exceptional-- just perfect! We tried to decide if we loved the traditional bread or the dessert the most---it was a tie. You will just have to try it! Ante is a delightful guide. He was helpful, a careful driver, and gave us so many interesting insights into the Croatian history and life.

We had the most wonderful day trip to Medjugorje & Kravice Waterfalls. Bozo was the perfect tour guide and made the day flow perfectly for us. He has a wonderful knowledge of the history and traditions of all the places we visited and passed on our journey. He was so accommodating with everything. We never felt rushed anywhere Bozo insisted we took our time and enjoyed each place which we certainly did. He also took us to a lovely place by a river for dinner in Bosnia before returning to Dubrovnik. If you are thinking of booking this trip don’t hesitate just book it you won’t regret it.

We cannot recommend Deja Tours highly enough. Their commentary was very knowledgeable and really made the trip. Their input was always relevant, appropriate and timely. They listened to what we wanted. They made the day for us. We would absolutely use them again.

We also used Deja Tours for airport transfers to and from the airport. Very punctual and hassle free transfers.

    Thank you both.

We took 2 trips to the Islands with 6 teenagers & they were the highlight of our holiday in Croatia. Nothing was too much trouble for Nives who replies to emails immediately & has brilliant suggestions for challenges (husband needing WiFi for a business meeting whilst on the boat = no problem, we’ll find a quiet spot for you!). Ivan & Milan on the boat are just outstanding. They were so flexible with our trips & took great care & attention to ensure we could fit in all our requests. They also booked the most amazing restaurants for lunch, family run places with amazing food & beautiful views. We loved every part of the trips & would not hesitate to recommend! We have been on boat trips all over the world and this was the best by far!
