Entertaining cooking demonstration. Learned some history of Creole and Cajun cooking, while getting to enjoy the meal prepared. Also learned how to cook the dishes prepared. My wife has already made the artichoke soup that we watched prepared during the demonstration. The artichoke soup recipe makes a very tasty soup. Hope to return and try the hands on cooking class very soon.

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful cooking class with Lynn. She included my 9 year old son and he was able to do most of the cooking. The food was excellent. Our creations needed to simmer for awhile so they had prepared our meals in advance and we were able to dine right in the shop. The meals we prepared were frozen and we picked them up on our way out of town to have at home. Our meals came complete with finishing instructions at home. We get to eat the great food twice. Lynn even meet us for food pickup on a day the shop was closed. Thank you for a great experience.

Had a great time at the Roux cooking class. The Gumbo, shrimp etouffee, and bananas foster were delicious and Chef Mark was a lot of fun.

What an amazing experience with Chef Amy and her Team. Amy could not have been a better host. Allison (Comedian) was funny and could not have been more pleasant. Everyone truly helped make my wife's birthday memorable.

The food was delicious, the Facility was impressive and the people could not have been better. Fun, delicious and entertaining.

From planning to execution and every step in between, chef Amy made every step of the process enjoyable.

The Crepes were not only fun to make, they were delicious. As for the Crepe toss competition, I believe it is going to take off and it will ultimately become an Olympic sport.

A friend of mine suggested we check this place out during our stay in New Orleans, I am so glad she did!
We took the ferry over to Algiers, which was a bonus point of fun. Watching the guys work in the shop was fascinating. The finished pieces in the studio are all so stunning you will have a difficult time picking your item to take home with you. They have pieces for most budgets, from $16 up to, I have no idea because if it looked expensive I did not touch it :D.
Take the ferry, walk around the area and see some great houses then go see Mark and his amazing work.

This was such a fun experience. Laurie was so amazing and helpful! There are so many varieties of glass, mirrors, beads, shells, bottles and canvases to choose from- the design potential’s are limitless. There’s a design book of ideas and lots of artwork on the wall to get ideas from. Would be a great activity for any ages! Highly recommend!!

A wonderful cookery lesson from start to finish. There was just 3 of us. Everything was so well thought out, a printed recipe sheet, produce ready to prep and a wonderful environment. Karen is very knowledgeable and we all got “stuck in” together. Wine aplenty, a beautiful dining area to eat what we had cooked.
A wonderful experience, very very easy to catch the ferry as this is located in the beautiful suburb area of Algiers.
So so pleased we did this and created a wonderful holiday memory.

Took my wife to New Orleans for her birthday. Made reservations for the cocktail class and boy when I tell you we had the greatest time! Camille and her staff was very informative and excellent with the hands on teaching. I totally recommend them if you get a chance when going out there!

Without a doubt the best time in New Orleans! Chef Karen is very knowledgeable and shares great cooking tips along with guiding your group to preparing delicious Cajun and Creole food. Sitting down afterwards to share the meal with her and her husband and enjoying great conversation was the perfect way to wrap up the evening. We will definitely do another class on our next visit!

Such a fun activity to do for a bachelorette. Our instructor Angie was great, she was easy going and clear with instructions. She made us all feel comfortable and was very encouraging. Would highly recommend adding this class to your NoLa itinerary.

Although we did not get to participate in a hands-on class, we did get to watch some artists at work. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there had been interaction between the artists and the onlookers, but maybe I was there at the wrong time. Still enjoyed browsing through all the beautiful glasswork.

Fabulous fabric - even if you aren't a quilter - this fabric is super beautiful and wonderful for many garment projects. Have made masks for COVID-19 out of their Batiks and PJ's, blouses and great stuff generally! Now on to baby outfits! THANKS for being there! APPRECIATE IT GREATLY....
